  1. I'm out. Bought a Digitech Bass Synth Wah. In my defense it's a bit of an investment as they are quite sought after, as they are no longer made.

    My pedals

The Eden chorus does the job, but it's a bit uninspiring. It comes with a PSU which is a nice touch. Agree about the Future Impact 😆 The Bass Synth Wah, doesn't quite do what I want, but it's worth keeping hold of as they are no longer being made, and are highly sought after.

    My pedals

For no readily apparent reason, here are my pedals. Stomp box type only. Top row: Behringer GDI21; Hard Wire HT-6 Polyphonic tuner; Future Impact. Middle row: Danelectro Wasabi Rock-a-bye Echo & Overdrive; Behringer BDI21. Bottom row: Digitech Bass Synth Wah; Flattley Bass Ivy distortion; Eden I-90 bass chorus.
  4. Depends. Some presets are just to showcase the equipment and don't tend to have much practical use. But some sound great straight out of the tin, as it were.
  5. welcome to Basschat, your bass knowledge may grow, and the contents of your wallet may shrink!
  6. The video is ok, but it needed more screen time for the bassist 😉 😎
  7. I'm currently gassing for a Peavey Headliner 1000.
  8. They do protrude a bit.
  9. Typical Government guidance, clear as mud.
  10. Behringer BDI21. Cheap and does the job as well as other more expensive pedals.
  11. Is this like that dress thing, and the bass is really yellow or something?
  12. Had you learned 'London's Burning' like the rest of us, things could have turned out different...
  13. I couldn't use my Xvives at one pub because they interfered with the contactless payment machine. Although TBF they didn't want any wireless used as it was a regular problem.
  14. My Xvives survived 2 years gigging in 2 bands, plus home use, before the casing came apart on the transmitter. In use, the only issue was the interference caused by the guitarists wireless. Swapping channels, for both of us, did not always sort it. His more expensive system never had the interference. These are what I bought when my Xvive transmitter died. Great (recharge) battery life, but the loss of volume compared to a lead is very noticeable - for me with both bass and guitar.
  15. The thinnest necks I can remember playing, were on Vox Teardrop basses.
  16. The actual lessons, no. But being able to use the music room, having access to the 4-track recorder, and jamming with the older kids who taught me Smoke on the Water, Paranoid, etc, then absolutely.
  17. This definitely.
  18. I've been in bands as support act to strippers twice. Although once was for The Dream Boys 😖
  19. If you were to sell it all you could probably afford a mansion in Mayfair! 😆
  20. My custom Shuker's are the result of all the best bits - for me - of all the basses I've owned (plus some of Jon's ideas and his amazing craftsmanship!). So couldn't really start again with basses. Amps however, small light and loud, and as soon as possible!
  21. 👍🏼
  22. Greene King pubs are already having live music indoors.
