True, but as has been mentioned in other threads - some started by me - there has not been any 'new' music for about 30 years, certainly in terms of music style/youth culture. Unless there are Chav bands, or Hipster bands?

apart from some songs in the set list of my old band, I don't really know any new music since about 1992.

maybe a question for another thread, but... would it be a breach of employment law/equal opportunities (etc) if in UK job adverts for musicians, it was requested that applicants also have an EU (country) passport?

According to the online covid vaccine calculator I'm not in any vulnerable group, and am due my second dose in December (at the latest). So even if gigs are vaccine certificate only, it will still be next year before I can go. All speculation though, who knows what's gonna happen? 🙂

Back in the day there was a band called The Applejacks. My Dad happened to be out with them having a drink or two, when fans started asking for autographs, but they were also asking my Dad. He looked at the vocalist in a 'what shall I do?' kind of way, and the vocalist just laughed and said 'sign them!'. So there must have been Applejack fans at home later that night, looking at their autographs wondering 'who the hell is that?'.

Big Digitech fan here, I have the BP355. The RP1 is for guitarists, but spend some time with it and you be able to find some useable sounds. A quick Google suggests the analogue effects were rated at the time.

Hah, I'm 2 Shuker's in and one on the way. All custom builds but I let Jon build them😆 The courses seem to be rated highly by all who do them, there have been several threads on here, always fun to follow.

Unfair thread! 🤣 I want every bass I've ever owned, I tend only to get rid due to lack of finances or space. I can 'see' at least 2 more custom Shuker's that I want (not including my current build) and I want every bass I've seen on Basschat where I've thought 'that looks nice...'.
