  1. plus at some of the gigs (remember them?) I've done there is not the space to put the bass back in a case.
  2. Sun Ra "Space is the Place" Ornete Coleman "Free Jazz". John Coltrane "Ascension".
  3. Bez Chas Smash Paul Rutherford All tasted success fame and fortune. Some would argue the Hype Man in rap is as vital as the front man.
  4. Love me some slap! Larry Graham 😍🥰😍 and Bootsy 🤩🤩🤩
  5. Doesn't Bill just use his thumb to pluck? Being a guitarist, the bass lines Keith played would all have been with a pick.
  6. Was the day after The Revenge of the Fifth?
  7. So the 'rumours' about a certain pop singer, and the wife of Jet Harris are unfounded?
  8. During the 80's when I was very much into my heavy metal, I saw The Shads. Hank could hold his own against any shredder, he was amazing.
  9. No mention of why Jet Harris left...
  10. Slough trading estates and stacks of empty cardboard boxes 😆
  11. Selling lots of records is excelling in the field of popular music, IMO it does not make the person who does a genius. As I said, perhaps for another thread.
  12. Extremely talented musicians no doubt, but compared to Beethoven?
  13. I've got to take issue with the use of the word 'genius', with regards to popular music. True genius in music is exemplified by Bach, Mozart, and many of the great composers. There are many in popular (and not so popular) music who are extremely talented, but 'genius'? No. Perhaps this is for another thread...
  14. Overrated: Nirvana. Great drummer & producers, from the second album, but sadly overrated and mythologised.
  15. Overrated Bon Jovi. Live, they sound like a band doing Bon Jovi covers. Underrated Gene Loves Jezebel. Product of their time, but should have been massive.
  16. Royale bass guitars (and guitars) as used by early 90's Welsh glamsters Tigertailz.
  17. Aha! I'm already plugged in, but I'll try the preference menu. Appreciate your help!
  18. reading the manual was the first thing I did, but I am a bear of lttle brain. After doing this: "If you have found a sound you like and want to write it to the pedal, click on theWRITE ONE button in the top left of the editor screen. Locate the program file. If thefile name begins with a two-digit numerical prefix then this is the location (slot) on thepedal to which it will be written. If you want to write it to a different slot, first renamethe file, prefixing the name with the two-digit slot number of your choice. When youare ready to write the program to your pedal, either double click the file or click Open" i have a dialogue box stating "FI not present or a communication error has occurred!".
  19. At the Asda I went to there is the social distanced marked queue to get in. But people are side by side getting and returning trolleys, and while passing each other in the aisles.
  20. I've got the pedal (already running the latest version) I've got the midi lead I've installed the drivers for the midi lead I've registered on the Panda website I've downloaded the editor I've hooked up the pedal to the computer via the midi lead I've opened the editor I've gone through the editor to the Program Database I've downloaded a sound I like. I've loaded from file to Editor How do I now get it on to the pedal, or know where on the pedal it has been saved? cheers!
