  3. hah! would love to have the option! There is a bendwell for the other strings next to the extra 2 frets.
  4. i'm another who in answer to the OP, can genuinely can say 'mine'.
  5. France has a policy/law that a certain percentage of music broadcast has to be in French, thus encouraging the development and success of French musicians in France, so if musicians are not coming in from the continent will this not be better for UK musicians in the UK?
  6. Big fan of Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, and Poison back in the day, but tbh none of them have done anything in close to 30 years that I know or would want to hear. 30 years! The Stadium Tour has been announced in just the USA at the moment, but as they are already adding more dates, a trip to Europe seems likely.
  7. Why? Will they be unable to get a visa? I would assume any cost would be tax deductible?
  8. Bauhaus They are my best mates favourite band, and I never got them. Not sure when it clicked for me, and I realised how good they actually were. I saw them on their first reunion tour 14 (?) years ago, absolutely awesome gig.
  9. As a metaller at the the time, I quite liked the earlier stuff,Like Tone Loc, and Run DMC, because they tended to rap over rock loops/tracks. This before an established career path leading to clothes lines and acting roles. What i've never understood about the development of 'Gangsta' rap is the juxtaposition of violent/sweary lyrics, over laid back, mellow music. Public Enemy had brutal lyrics with backing music to match, which made more sense to me. But it's not my scene, so maybe I'm not supposed to understand it.
  10. Bugger ☹️ Seriously considering driving up from that London and back, on Saturday.
  11. First concert - Donington Monsters of Rock Last concert - The Cult Best concert - Twisted Sister Worst concert - The Exploited Loudest concert - Motorhead Seen the most - The Damned Most surprising - Soft Cell Next concert - Not known.. Wish I would have seen - The Thompson Twins
  12. For me it's a no. My Shuker's were custom made for me, so when I play anything else it doesn't feel the same or as good. I bought them to play so I gig them regardless of the gig
  13. Yup. It's basically a hook on a spring. Clamps the string for an E, unclamp for open D.
  14. that's caught me out before, fortunately only at rehearsal though, not at a gig.
