A reluctant sale but something needs to go. £430.00 or reasonable offer This is a special little bass, ideal for travelling and it really punches above its weight. Standard tuning (EADG), one octave above but with your favourite octave pedal you're into the usual bass sound. It was specially built for me, and the quality is outstanding. Features: Locking tuners Delano quad pickup Bespoke bridge Fits in a ukulele case (included) Light weight Hand made Maker's details and more pictures: http://www.stradi.pl https://www.facebook.com/symphonybass/

I saw that wingbass on your post, I was skeptical but it actually looks really cool.
-
I believe it should be ready at the end of this month.
-
Thanks, he just PM'd me which is great because I have just pulled the trigger on a maple Soprano with ash body. Can't wait for it to arrive.
-
Yep, no working site either,
-
I don't know how seriously to take a Wing bass - is it a real instrument?
-
Ideal! but not readily available I suppose.

The marleaux is very pricey that's why I was wondering. I'm not sure about the rubbery strings on the u-bass options. In a nutshell I'm looking for a portable bass that I travel with (on a motorbike) that doesn't have rubber strings. I don't mind using an octave pedal.

Anyone have an experience with one of these (Marleaux Soprano) or an extra short scale bass?

I upgraded a Bronco with a pickup from the Creamery. Jamie was super helpful, made one the same size so it could just be dropped in. The bass seriously punches above it's weigh now. Jamie's made Tele pickups for me too, I've never been disapointed.
