1. I don't think either the Gallery or GG stock them, but maybe they can order them in. I'll ask next time I'm in Camden.
2. Can't find any UK dealers who stock these, anyone know of anywhere?
3.
Damn right it was Nice trip to norf landan and all picked up, Tried it out tonight and it's a winner, thanks again. Oh and nice car Dave
haha cheers shame about the birdsh*t all over it, they get me every time.
4. Mzungu71 got down here super fast today to pick this up, so this bass is now sold. Thanks again for all the interest.
5. Thanks for all the interest and kind words guys, all PM's replied. Linus - the bass is passive, no preamp or active pickups.
6. thanks guys. I've had loads of trade offers but I'm afraid I'll need the cash for this one.
7. Nice one Pete, thanks. I've looked after it well, I'm really hoping I don't regret letting it go. It's the most 'authentic' sounding Warwick I've ever had, if it wasn't for the 5 string getting all the attention this wouldn't be going anywhere.
8. Selling this as I now have a 5 string version. It has the classic Warwick growl, the wenge neck is in perfect condition, the body has a minimal amount of marks on it, and the bass had a full service and check-up at the Gallery as soon as I got it, so it's set up to perfection. The action is low, the neck is super fast, and it has the brass nut which you don't find on Warwicks any more unfortunately. It's set up with brand new Elixir's. Price - £350 plus postage, or free delivery to anywhere within greater London. Or it can be collected from central London. 9. Amp price drop - now £450! (Cheapest I've seen these new is £875.00, and that's without the case!)
10. It's actually a UL2-210, I'll correct that in a sec - info about it can be found here: http://www.epifani.com/products/UL2_210.php
11. I've had some good trade offers on this but I'm clearing out the studio so I'm willing to take a bit of a hit for a cash payment, I'm off to the USA in 2 weeks and need to sell this before I go. This is a high-end 1000W amp for less than the price of your average small combo - now reduced to £350! It's 1000W, loud as hell, loads of headroom, built-in compression, loads of EQ options, boost and 'growl' and 'contour' controls mean it can handle pretty much anything you throw at it, it's a wicked amp and I wish I was still playing through it every week. It comes with a brand new Gator case (worth around £90 as far as I remember). Price includes free delivery to anywhere in the greater London area (or you can collect it from me in Central London). Would prefer not to post because of weight / size, but I'll bring them to you if you're not too far away. [s]Warwick X-treme 10.1 with Gator case[/s] - SOLD [s]Epifani UL2-210[/s] SOLD
12. +1 on Interparcel, really good and cheap too. NEVER use Parcelforce, they always break stuff and their insurance is a shameless rip-off, it's not worth the paper it's printed on. If you want your stuff to get there safely, avoid Parcelforce at all costs.
13. I sold the $$, but I still have 2 old corvette's, an old bubinga/wenge/brass nut passive 4 string, and an ash/wenge passive 5 string, both sound beautiful and have that signature Warwick growl, I don't think I could bring myself to sell either of those. I never really understood the point of all those humbuckers on the new models.
14.
look in the 'bass' forum, there's a warwick thread and you can see how people are wanting a "Made in Germany" bass someday in the future.
I'm really curious about how this will affect the future value of second hand Warwicks from the 90's? Does anyone think they will become highly collectable / sought after?

Here it is, looking and sounding a lot better than when it arrived the other week. Growly tone, nice low action, really loud output (the bass was weirdly quiet when it turned up, but I found a volume trim pot thing inside which was turned almost all the way down). Here's another - I was offered this for a silly price so I took a chance on it, it's a bit grimey and rough round the edges, it needs a good clean and a setup, I don't think it's been used for a while. I will post some better pics when it's sorted. Anyone have any thoughts on the Iceni dual jazz pickups?
17.
OOOOOO I've waited over 3 days for my 2 sets of strings, they must be slipping. That or it's Christmas
i'm not sure if that post is taking the piss out of what i wrote - if you spend over £50 they're supposed to send them out guaranteed for next day, christmas or not - i placed my order over the phone and was guaranteed this, as long as i ordered an extra set. that's the whole reason i ordered 2 sets and not 1. as it is, my strings are still not here and i might as well have got them from somewhere more reliable, which is exactly what i'll do next time.
18. i ordered 2 sets of strings from this lot based on the recommendations here - i needed next day delivery, which they said would be included in the price with orders over £50 (which is why i ordered 2 sets). this was on thursday, it is now saturday, and my strings never arrived. it turns out they forgot. absolute sh!te, i'll never use them again.
19. here's an obscure one from me, don't let this thread die. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oX3IKA5U11Q

Here's mine, it's a PJ Performer which I'd been eyeing up in the window of the Bass Gallery for a while. I'm no expert by any means but this bass feels and sounds absolutely excellent to me, I'm a short-ass and can't deal with the size of Fenders, so I've been looking for a PJ with a more manageable body size and weight, and this is perfect, I couldn't be happier with it. I like it so much I've gone all fanboy-ish about it. How come they stopped making these? Their website looks like nobody's been near it for about 8 years. 21. Thanks again for the comments and PM's everyone, it's definately a beast of a bass, it was my main 'band' bass and if the band hadn't split I would definately keep it, I'm a big fan of these basses. I still have 2 others left to satisfy my Warwick needs, but having 3 Corvette's is a little excessive without the band.. It is now reserved for Ahpook and sold pending the usual.
