  1. Hey - yes they fit perfectly and are the exact same strings that were on it originally. No problems at all since restringing it.
  2. EBS Billy Sheehan Signature drive pedals. I have the original purple pedal and the 2nd evolution Orange pedal. Both boxed with the instruction manuals included. The orange pedal has Velcro on the bottom. Self adhesive feet are attached to the front edge for re-use if you need them. £79 for the purple pedal, £99 for the Orange pedal. Local Collection, from Bridgend, South Wales or can post for £5 each.
  3. New grub screws arrived and tested. All good - so this Bridge is now fully complete, ready to use, and comes with spare locking grub screws in case the new owner loses any like I did!
  4. *****UPDATE: I have sourced replacement locking grub screws which I should have by 1st November. Ordered 12 as they were cheap! All will be included with the Bridge.******
  5. TC Electronic BH250 amp head & Gator Carry case. It has a few light scrapes on top etc but is in generally good condition, and works perfectly. No box so the gator carry case is included. Can probably also include a kettle lead, I’m nice like that! Local collection from Bridgend, South Wales or can post for £10.
  6. Babicz Full contact Bridge for sale. One of the Cam locking grub screws got lost at some point but I have sourced a replacement and ordered spares too which are included, see pictures and my replies below. Local collection from Kenfig hill near Bridgend, south Wales or can post for £5.
  7. Badass II bridge in great condition. screws included. Local collection from Kenfig hill near Bridgend, South Wales or can post for £5.
  8. Trade options now added into the original post, for quick reference it says: Possible trade options would be for Guitars of equal value, specifically something with a Bridge Humbucker and a decent trem, like PRS, Fat Strat, Super Strat type things. Trades would need to be done in person in a reasonable distance from me.
  9. Wasn't this available in white too? tried soo many Jazz's over the years (love the look) but always float back to precision shaped objects.... FWIW I agree on the Red, I think (I could be wrong) that there was an MIJ Red reissue of some description, might have been block inlays rather than dots though...
  10. *****PRICE DROP £800***** 2015 Fender Steve Harris signature Precision. Excellent condition, never been gigged. I can’t find a mark on it anywhere. Zero fret wear as shown in photo. These come with the Seymour Duncan SPB-4 Steve Harris signature pickup installed and Fender’s Hi-mass Bridge. Yes, these are famously heavy, as is Mr Harris’s own Bass. I don’t know exactly what it weighs, but it’s a lot. You’ll need a good strap. Strung with fresh roundwounds. Fender gig bag and case candy included. Please ask if you want some more specific pictures. Possible trade options would be for Guitars of equal value, specifically something with a Bridge Humbucker and a decent trem, like PRS, Fat Strat, Super Strat type things. Trades would need to be done in person in a reasonable distance from me. Based in Kenfig Hill near Bridgend, South Wales, cash / bank transfer on collection ideally but could also deliver / meet within reason.
  11. I've been luck enough to see this beauty in the flesh, and like all Matt's stuff, it's immaculate, and I mean IMMACULATE. It's been setup amazingly well and plays like a dream too. Buy with confidence guys, Matt knows what he's doing when it comes to buying / selling / shipping Basses!
  12. Wow. Just Wow. That thing could tell a few stories I bet!
  13. Whatever happened to Sky Arts showing extended highlights of the Download festival? Always used to be on a few weeks after the festival, usually over 2 nights, 3hrs each night.
  14. Great, thanks! The Sarzo is a stunning bass but the electronics do let it down a little.
  15. I've just picked up a Peavey Rudy Sarzo and was thinking about replacing all the electronics on it. Now this has really pleased me! Did the MM sized pickups fit into the existing pickup recesses or did you have to rout them out a bit? The rings look awesome!
  16. I often had this exact thought when I used to take mine on pub gigs in the South Wales Valleys. My muso friends would shudder when I told them, but I used to say exactly that - 'Don't worry - 99.999999% people wouldn't have a clue of what it is or it's value, they just think I can't afford a Fender'.
  17. This has to be worth a look: https://www.bassdirect.co.uk/product/sire-marcus-miller-v9-brown-sunburst-2018-pre-owned/ Some dings but nothing serious to my eye, worst one by the jack socket, but even that only looks to be chipping to the finish, nothing a dab of the correct colour nail varnish wouldn't tidy up a bit. Gig bag too.
  18. I had a Bass Centre Betsy and it's a great Jazz bass for sure. You do see them Secondhand occasionally for less than your £500 so definitely worth a look. EMG's too, if you like that. I'm a precision player at heart but always liked having a Jazz bass around, but in the end PJ turned out to be enough for me. Got 2015 Elite Precision (PJ) and never looked back.
  19. Yep - Great Basses indeed, I had one of the black textured ones with the metal pickguard which I picked up locally off gumtree for an absolute song. It had one of the best B strings I've ever heard!
  20. As others have said or hinted at - What you describe as competency is really all most bands require from a capability point of view. I've come to realise that what's also really important is being an easy person to get along with and simply turning up. Also agree with the posts mentioning local Jam nights, go along to a few and observe if you don't feel immediately confident enough to ask for a go. In my experience, they can be very well run or 'not'. Either way you'll meet plenty of other musos and who knows what might happen.....
