So - this happened yesterday, these were the sellers pics but you get the idea! Most folks on here know how good these are and I've wanted one for a while now. Judging by the serial it appears to be a 2013 build, and the fit and finish really are fantastic. Showed up locally on the Facebook marketplace and I was quick! Should put the GAS for a Pino signature to rest (for a while anyway!). I plan to put some TI Flats on it, give it a setup and that's about it really, possibly some flat top knobs but it's great as it is. May consider upgrading the loom to a Kiogon job in the future. Doesn't seem to need it but, you know....

Up for Sale / Trade is my TC RH750 with TC Bag and RC4 footswitch. I have the original TC boxes / instructions for everything and UK insured shipping is no problem, at cost of course, contact me and I can get quotes. Selling as I've got the BH250 head and to be honest, I much prefer the 'Core tone' of it. Just seems to suit me better. YMMV! To that end I would consider part trade offers, particularly for the BH550/800 heads, involving some cash my way too.. Pics to follow, but safe to say it's all in excellent condition, never even gigged by me. Feedback in my signature below.

Neat and tidy cable porn! Love it!

Cheers Chaps, looking at it in the pic above, it's all bloody PCB mounted so I think it's best left alone haha, wouldn't think anyone'll touch it with a barge pole!

Ah - found this online just now: Guess I'll be leaving that WELL ALONE!

Hey all, The blend knob on my US Fender Elite seems quite 'urgent', i.e., moving even the slightest bit away from the centre detente pretty much makes it go to either pickup solely. It's more like a switch than a blend knob. Could be a fault I suppose, but I'm thinking about seeing if it can be changed to a Vol/Vol instead. Anyone ever done this? I haven't had the scratchplate off yet but it's got a 18v 3 band switchable active circuit with a passive tone as well. Anyone know how complex the wiring might be, or if it might be pretty straightforward?

For reference, you probably won't get much from Fender UK. When I was looking at the USA Geddy Lee Bass with the wrong neck on it, I was dealing with a guy in the US Consumer relations dept. called Bryce Wells. Email - [email protected]

Cool, FWIW I also like the tort plate on yours! I'd say so, sounds like it's all to spec then apart from the pickguard and thumbrest.
-
Also - Look at the sunburst pattern on the 60's vs 70's, 60's goes much further out to the edge of the body. Although - looking at yours, it does appear to have the Bridge pickup in the correct location (closer to the bridge). Could be that your bass has a correctly routed body, but has had the 60's burst pattern painted and 60's pickguard/thumbrest applied. What about the bridge on yours? Does it have threaded barrels(60's) or single slot ones(70's)? Either way I'd say you're looking at some sort of factory error.

Hmmm - it certainly looks like that's a AVRI 64 body: https://www.andertons.co.uk/bass-dept/bass-guitars/jazz-bass/fender-american-vintage-64-jazz-bass-in-3-color-sunburst https://www.reddogmusic.co.uk/catalog/product/732439/fender-american-vintage-64-jazz-bass-sunburst?gclid=Cj0KCQjwy9LVBRDOARIsAGqoVnsp-QJI0rw9FJJJsXrFXmsyYOpnhMWZ5R2Hx8TLtPj2zMHa_V8b33saAjBVEALw_wcB https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/product/13010717190032--fender-american-vintage-64-jazz-bass-rw-3tsb Could be a factory error, 64 body had a 74 neck attached? Not unheard of for stuff like that to happen, I had a USA Geddy Lee Jazz bass which had the wrong neck on it (black blocks/binding instead of white pearl). Looking at GG's web page, they have more of the '74 in stock (5 to be exact, at time of writing): https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/product/13010717450132--fender-american-vintage-74-jazz-bass-rw-3tsb So, if you're unsure, I'd be onto them asking for an exchange (confirming that the one they were sending you as a replacement was correct to spec.) Hope this helps!

Delighted to start this one off. Matt bought a Bass from me. Thoroughly nice bloke, very responsive to messages and the deal was easy to arrange despite poor weather and the like. No messing about, turned up on time and we were both very happy with how things went. Would not hesitate to deal with Matt again, and neither should anyone else. Cheers Matt!

As far as I can see, the main issue with what you want to do is shown below - Looking at the block diagram - The Send/Returns on the Evo 1 are before the preamp in the block diagram. So anything you do send to another amp won't be affected by the evo 1's EQ / DSP etc.

Nice score, I had my beady eye on that, if it was the one that was in Northern Ireland...minty!

Thank goodness I got a Helix a few months ago. Otherwise the GAS hulk would be taking over me NOW!!!!!!!!

Picked up a gold anodised guard from @Marc S the other day. I think it looks awesome! Think this settles it once and for all... second pic shows how the metallic black works better against the metal guard!
