  1. Yep, I agree here, nothing worse than when something that's been up for sale for a long time has the last 40 posts just reading 'Bump'..
  2. Out of interest, what cases are you guys preferring for the Helix / LT? I'd like one with a detachable lid ideally, any recommendations? I saw the one on Thomann when I did a quick google... https://www.thomann.de/gb/thon_case_line6_helix_lt.htm?glp=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA9rjRBRAeEiwA2SV4ZTKjBgPqyGkj8QgWo49Fyptbwrt_kfRWuc1Byux-rzAf-w1u-TZNYxoCkVoQAvD_BwE
  3. Until the day before yesterday so it seems. Bought the LT. I'm such a tart.
  4. OK You learn something new every day! Cheers! FWIW I didn't mind pressing return twice to create a paragraph....
  5. Not a 'Bug' as such I suppose, but why am I getting a blank line every time I Press return? Like this: Every Time I Press Return Thanks!
  6. Really gonna try and get along to it this time!
  7. Yep I suppose what puts the pickup in the 'standard' position is distance from the 12th fret to the pole pieces?
  8. AFAIK the Precision didn't get the 3-bolt/micro-tilt ever. I could well be wrong, but Bass-wise I think it was only ever on mid-late 70's Jazzes.... Oh and as for this sale thread, nice Bass! GLWTS!
  9. I think the P pickup placement in a straight P vs. most modern (certainly Fender) P/J's is the same, so for the most part, if you get a PJ, you can still have a straight P as well, just by turning down the J pup.. Regarding the roadworn Precision (I have one, Fender not Limelight), what you get with those is a Bass that somehow feels 'played in', I've recently given mine a bit of TLC, by adding a tug bar and a bridge ashtray, along with a set of TI flatwounds, and at the moment I can't put the thing down. I know there are other Roadworn owners, Marc S for one, who'll be along to sing the praises too. Hope this helps!
  10. Not at all, good question, Yes the tuners and tree are on it, but no neck screws included, I re-used those..
  11. 'Nice amp for a small gig or practice room' Hmmm, I'd wager that lot would do you fine for most pub/club gigs without any issues at all. What a Bargain.
  12. For Sale here is the Neck from a 2001 Made in Indonesia Squier 'Standard' PJ Bass. Maple Neck / Rosewood fingerboard. Frets are virtually unplayed, very little/no wear to speak of. Nut width 38mm or Jazz / 'A' width. Truss Rod works fine. £65 gets it delivered to your door in the UK. Pics:
  13. I had the same problem as the OP, and I've been on Dunlop Superbright Nickels 45-105 ever since. Very nice low tension. The only strings I've got an any Bass are TI Flats on my Roadworn P Bass, but they're Low tension too.
  14. Yep the nut width on the Nate Mendel is 41mm I think, in between Jazz (38mm) and Precision (42mm). Definitely worth a look..
  15. Thanks MBA, it was an Indonesian made 2001 Squier 'standard' PJ. I got a lovely MIJ precision neck for it. By the time I finish with it, all that'll be original is the Body itself.
  16. Go on then, have a price drop. Now £1999.
  17. 3rd kit I've bought from John, this time for a PJ w/side jack. Also has series-parallel switch, Winner! Great kits, the man is an artist! Cheers John!
