1. I'd say Mr. Zed above is correct. This is an upgraded highway one. EDIT: Here's what it would have looked like when new.
2. Surprised it's not for sale in the marketplace on here TBH. Most BF owners in the UK will have found out about them through this forum in one way or another I reckon.....
3. Made in 1992. I was 17 at the time. What I wouldn't have given to have that rig.
4.
I have to ask, did BFC stand for "Big F****ng Cab"?
Not sure 'officially', but I'm pretty sure that's what everyone assumed!
5. What a cool find!
6.
In the end I had to contact Fender, who where quite intrigued themselves, and helpful.
Oh? Do tell!
7.
This isn't helping!
Neither will this then:
8.
Meant to post this before
Hmmm. Doesn't look as weird as I thought it would.
9. Yep - Black / Black / Maple!!!
10. This shouldn't be here very long!
11. Yep - All the character in the tone of the Attitude is coming from the Split P Pickup. The Will power P Snarls & Growls like a bulldog with an elastic band on his man parts..the volume is something else, bordering on the output of an active bass...
12. Go to your local Jam nights people. This is where you're more likely to find like minded individuals.....
13. Hold up - 2 different BF cabs which are the same width?!? Shut the front door!
14. Dear me, you need a hazmat suit to even look at it.
15. What a lovely pair! ooo-errrr missus!
16. I've got the Metro 20 board (same underside clearance as the nano) and the Coiks DC-5. Works great for me (for now! ). Worth adding that some folks have successfully modified these boards to have taller feet so you get a bit more clearance underneath. See here, it's a older pedaltrain 'mini' in this case but the principal is the same.: - http://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/pedaltrain-mod-part-1-adjustable-feet.1240974/ http://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/pedaltrain-mini-mod-part-2-mounting-a-power-supply-diy.1249528/
17. Oh I forgot to add - Don't waste your hard earned on having to get the will power neck pickup, for one it's expensive, and secondly they don't even use it in the V3 Attitude, it's a yamaha pickup. I've even known someone to put a Dimarzio X2n (guitar pickup) in there and had great results. There's also an X2nb which is the same pickup but has more bottom end. Both cheaper than the will power neck pickup.
18.
If I can locate some Will Power pickups I might just put them in my Yamaha Pulser and be done with it!
Again, they don't seem to come up secondhand - IIRC they're not too badly priced anyway... In fact, here you go: £69 in GAK, in stock. https://www.gak.co.uk/en/dimarzio-dp146-will-power-middle/97031?gclid=Cj0KEQiA9ZXBBRC29cPdu7yuvrQBEiQAhyQZ9OphMavJ48x8SOwo7tEuRCsZ9BCcnlE2M5eZbxW7yE8aApno8P8HAQ
19. I have fond memories of a particularly drunken all-nighter at a mate's house, where we drank smirnoff blue label and listened to 'Chelsea hotel #2' over and over and over.......RIP.
20. Long Shot - but is this this still for sale?
21.
(You know what this is for Lewis, having discussed it a bit last week. I've a wanted ad up for the Will Power pickups to try in one of my current P basses first, but no joy yet...)
Indeed, and you will find everyting you're looking for in an Attitude ltd / 2 / 3. They do, as you know, command high prices though. And I personally think the current version 3 is way overpriced when new. Just depends how bad the GAS is I suppose!
22. No problem - Jon is a very affable guy and he'll definitely give you a honest opinion on whether the amp will do what you're looking for. Would definitely suggest contacting him. He's on facebook too.
23.
Old thread revived. Can anyone talk about their experience with this in anger? Really would like to hear from users about its tone, especially the low end channel clean
Search youtube for a guy called Jon Willis, he's got one and I'm pretty sure he's put some demos up.
