1.
I have 'liked' the Attitude FB page and yes there are some very knowledgable and friendly guys on there! I did see a post from Jon Willis about using an EBS pedal to use both outputs to a single amp, looks like my Hyperdrive pedal is going to be replaced now then!
Yeah Jon Willis is a very cool guy, always posting some new way to connect certain things up to acheive tonal heaven! I can whole heartidly recommend the EBS Sheehan pedals, I've had both versions and currently use the deluxe model. Rigged up using both outputs, it's the best sound I've ever had, by a country mile.
 2.
How do you kill someone with a carrot?
Slowly.
 3. Location?, this is very nice!, the thumbnail doesn't do it justice, check out the google pictures link! Wow! Also might be helpful to say if you will accept trade offers..
 4. Good luck BigWan. You never know! FWIW I think they're a great looking Bass....Very Versatile too with all the Pup configurations..
 5.
what about the strings being out of line with the neck - that really worries me!
If you look at the last couple of pictures, the alignment is OK. My best guess would be that he took those pictures after re-attaching the neck and lining it up properly. It's a 3-bolt neck, they can and do move a bit.
 6. Seems to have been relisted. Everything looks legit to me on the listing that's there now... Neck pocket and neck stamps look good. Serial number on the back of the scratchplate. 76 decals were all over the place, it's well known. At the £1300 starting price it's at now, I'd call it a bit of a bargain. Have a look what they're asking for mid 70's Fenders in the London shops. If I was considering buying (I'm not, I have a 75 that's essentially the same) I'd ask for a close up pic of the pickup serial numbers, and the pot codes. This will date everything you need to know and you can buy without worry or walk away fully informed. HTH.
 7. Now at £505, come on - who's bidding!?!?! It's not me!
 8. Always bought rotos until about this time last year. TBH I didn't know the difference from one string to another. Then one day I needed strings. Called into my local music shop and all they had was a set of picato 40-100. Not ideal I thought, but needs must. Put them on and thought - 'oh' these feel nice. Looked at the packet and there you go, Nickel Wound. Eyes opened. Went on a quest after that and have arrived at Dunlop Super Bright Nickels, 45-105. Very low tension, feel great under fingers (fretting and plucking hand) and really do last ages. Ever get that feeling like the bass is fighting you back? I don't any more...string-wise, they're all I'm buying for now.. EDIT: YMMV!
 9. Also, if you're on Facebook, there's a group page dedicated to the Attitude Basses, which Billy is a member of and regularly chips in on stuff. Well worth a visit. Some very knowledgable guys on there. I have 2 Attitudes, a black version 2, and a blue version 3. What I will say is they really come alive when you use both outputs, and although it is definitely the best way to experience it, you don't always need 2 amps to do this. You can use the EBS Billy sheehan pedal (either standard or deluxe version) to get a very good sound using both pickups (I do exactly that)..
 10.
Pm me what you have Lewis, 4 string Basses only, you never know
Incoming!
 11. Man, I'd love one of these to go with my Roadworn P. Could also use another gigbag too! Haven't got a Nate Mendel to trade though.....Are you open to any other trade options?
 12.
They've managed to put the silver detuner on almost a wonky as Fender have fitted the one on the G string, ah Fender build quality don't you just love it? The string lye on the E would annoy me too and I can't see putting the proper tuner on would sort that either?
The Detuner isn't wonky, it's 'activated' if you like. You can see the lever is down so that's allowed the peg to turn.
 13. Was just about to post this one myself. These were a Stu Hamm signature Bass, very high spec and very nice indeed! Someone will surely get a bargain if it stays anywhere near what it's at now....
 14. Spotted this one myself and I live about 30mins away. But I really don't need another bass.
 15.
I have the same issue sometimes Lew. Reads my E as B. And no it isn't that far out of tune It is something nearby making it wonky. Go somewhere quiet and it'll work fine every time. Don't know why it's only the E!

You often get that E to B thing, as the B is the next strongest harmonic on the E string. Even worse with fresh strings with all their harmonic richness! Easy to get round, simply play the 12th fret harmonic - E - which is at 1/2 the string length and cuts out all the 'odd' divisions i.e. 1/3 ( , 1/5 (G#) etc.

Yeh i just play the A on the E string to tune it if im getting this issue. Don't understand why it only happens on my E string though?
Weird innit?!?, OK well I guess I'll try again this weekend! Trying to reduce my pedalboard, it can be just 3 pedals if I can ditch the TU-3 thats on there and I've got a classic 2 pedaltrain - ridiculous!
 16.
I have quite a selection of such things, built up over the years. One of the best for me, even with a low B, is the Planet Waves NS Micro Tuner. Tiny, so I've almost lost it a couple of times, but it's size means it can stay on the bass when putting it back in the case.
Bought one of these - tried it on Friday night. Wouldn't detect my E string! Gave it to the guitarist to try - same for him. Weirdly, when I tried it at home, it seemed to work OK. I know these work by vibration, is there any chance the sound system in the venue (which I was standing near to) could affect it and make it not work?!?
 17. Listing now 'Removed'?!
 18. Another +1 for these fine basses. I had the 5 string version for a little while. As far as I know, they stopped making these as they were badly affecting sales of the standard Stingrays. Get one and you'll see why.
 19. You have a PM Pete.
 20. Yeah, have to say it's not for me. But each to their own! Good to see more manufacturers sprouting up though...
 21.
Really? The tech info states that for gigs the 1 x 15 can be added for extra tone and volume.
Yep I read that on the website too, but from the manual: - Speaker Out: There is an 8 Ohm min load speaker out-put located on the rear of the AAA-60 (disconnects internal speaker AAA-60 ONLY) Perhaps contact Ashdown directly and ask them, in my experience, they are good at resonding to general queries.
 22. Colour me interested! Am actually considering trading-down on my amp and cabs, having gone to using in-ears, but feeling the need to have a combo or cheaper amp/cab as a 'just incase' we ever have to gig and use someone else's PA rig and in-ears aren't an option.. An ABM1000 and a pair of super compacts seems slightly over the top for 'in case of emergencies'....
 23.
..., and the fact the EVO can be paired with an Ashdown 15" cab for gigging makes it look a great buy.... Thanks for any comments.
All I'd say is that it seems on that particular combo, if you connect another speaker, the internal speaker is disabled, so not maybe quite what you think..
