1. Only ever bought face-to-face after finding something on the Facebook buy/sell pages, like others have said, if it's too far away, there's bound to be someone on here nearer who'd go and check it out for you for petrol money....
2. Excuse my ignorance Richard, but is this a USA made bass or Japanese please?
3. Not surprised that went quickly, lovely example of the early Attitude range, I remain surprised to this day that they discontinued the whole range barring the actual Billy Sheehan 'ltd' models...
4. Having just bought an ABM1000 myself, I now have the same rig as the OP, I have 2 super compacts and intend to use 1 mainly, or 2 for big rooms. Should be fun!
5. Wow - Gorgeous - Just recently got 2 lovely Jazzes myself otherwise I'd be Gas'ing like mad over this. GLWTS.
6.
When I got my TRB it had a Delano Sonar something-or-other in it. Lovely sound/tone but very low output - less than unity. It was replaced with the original TRB pre as I wanted to keep the bass original. G.
Yes I thought this too - very clean hi-fi sound on the Sandberg VM-5 I had, but actually quiet low output.
7. Done a few deals via the forum now and realized I don't have a feedback thread - so here it is!

GILLY

Completed an amp trade deal with Will last night, top bloke, met me halfway on the road too, pleasure to meet him and do a deal!
9.
as usual, too heavy for me. GLWTS
Thanks Tom, shame she's a bit on the 'rotund' side for you..
10. Hiya Guys, the Bass weighs 9.4lbs for those interested.
11.
I'd love one if the weight was right, what does it weigh Lewis?
Second time I've been asked for this today, I'm still in work at the moment, I shall weigh it when I get home and post up. Cheers!
12.
I'd say a market thing. I just got a black mex Geddy and it's a beast! 2015 model and it's great. There are quite a few for sale at the moment too. Anyone who doubts the new mex ones would be foolish. Bump for a great bass and glwts
Cheers!
13.
Preference for chunky necks here. Not too thin please, and by thin I mean overall mass. I can deal with the narrow nut if there's a decent chunk of wood back to front.
Same Here. My '75 jazz is a standard 1.5" nut but is nice and deep front to back ('U' shape I believe) and sits in my hand really nicely..
14.
Think it's probably a market thing. It's pretty terrible for selling currently, from what I can tell. I'd have this in a heartbeat if I could get away with playing a 4 string in my band, I love Geddy Lees, especially the sunburst model.
Yep, I think that's true too - I do have a guy locally thinking about buying it, but he's still yet to decide, hopefully that'll come off, but I can't bank on it obviously..
15.
would it be the Mexico thing? I have two of these, one in black and one in 3TSB. picked up the latter from here and it's a Japanese one tho it didn't have a Badass bridge so I added one. i don't follow the intricacies of these things so the Mex/Jap thing might not be a 'thing' in this case/anymore. Personally I love them so if I was you I'd keep it!
Could be that, I guess folk still have the perception that mexico stuff is inferior to Japan stuff. I think that's possibly too much of a generalization personally. From what I've heard, there are different 'lines' in the mexico plant, with stuff like the roadworns and signature models being made separately to the standard series, also something which has been well talked about on here is that there's been a marked improvement in everything from Fender mex / usa since 2012. And I would be keeping it if I hadn't just bought a YOB (1975) Jazz and a US '75 re-issue (gotta love the natural finish!)
16. 'Not one reply on this in 5 days' type bump! If anyone has any constructive suggestions on why this isn't attracting attention, let me know, either by commenting or PM! Cheers!
17. Loved my evo2, someone will get a bargain here for a great sounding rig.
18. Don't think you're missing anything, that's obviously what he thinks they are worth.
19. Check this one out if you thought the other one was expensive! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Original-Vintage-1961-1962-1963-Fender-Jazz-Precision-P-Bass-Guitar-Hard-Case/141940353900?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140107083358%26meid%3Dfe33c710d47d42919bc6f8aee003e26c%26pid%3D100011%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D201532995325
20. Taking my daughter to Babymetal at Wembley Arena tomorrow! Should be a laugh!
21. Just spotted that one myself - very nice I thought!

23. 1975 for me - and this is my YOB Jazz:
24. Yep, if you couldn't hear the drummer because the guitar amps were too loud then that's the problem, not that your amp (or indeed the drummer) were too quiet. As has been said, you need to seriously reduce onstage volume of things like this are happening, or risk your future health, and nothing is worth that..
25. Yep, I've had no issues with them at all - bought and PX'd stuff from them a few times, always helpful and very responsive to email prior to visit. I've too found their prices are really competitive, I recently got a new EBS pedal from them, and the price was no more than you'd pay from anywhere else really, and I got to try it out in the shop. Mark also gave me top advice for somewhere nice to have a spot of lunch before heading home too...winner.
