Just knew I shouldn't have said yes to a band.

MY biggest annoyance too - Turn up for a rehearsal and it's clear when someone hasn't been learning their parts individually. 'Have you learned the song mate?' 'Yeah I had a quick listen' -
It's simple in theory - At pub/club level, you're free to play with whomever you like. Whatever goes in the diary first gets your services.

Played one of these in Wunjo a while back, very nice indeed! I wasn't a fan of the Vol/Tone/3-way personally, I prefer VBT or VVT. Lovely Bass though, and congrats!

£100 a string innit.

Forgive me if I've missed something, but what shows that this has a non-original neck? -
Squier JV P starting very cheap...

Looks like it's been somewhere very damp for a very long time! if not actually underwater! -
Same here - my first Bass was a Black body / white guard / Maple neck Marlin Slammer Precision copy. I know now it was rubbish, but it got me started! One showed up locally on FB for £60 and I nearly bought it, just for sentimental value....

I think perhaps if the pickup covers and / or knobs were red as well it would tie it all together a bit better. Still a lovely Bass though!, Congrats!

Sorry Matt, it went a few years ago! Sold it to @SH73

That Sparkle Blue looks amazing. I had one of those MIJ Steve Harris P's from about 2009 (the ones before the WHU badge MIM ones) and I reckon I'd find it hard to tell the difference in the 2 paint jobs. Lovely!

This can usually be easily remedied - loosen the neck screws a little and give the neck a pull sideways whichever direction is needed to correct it, and re-tighten. Not uncommon for this to happen when stuff is transported around the world. I had it on a Mex Geddy Lee Jazz. Took me 30 seconds to sort it. -
Just contact Ashdown if you think there's something wrong. They're very responsive and easy to deal with.

If I liked Jazz Basses, I'd do it to all of mine. Great mod on Jazzes, not so much on Precisions.

Thanks Stevie! Pleasure doing business with you!

I bought a Sansamp from Stevie, perfect deal, would definitely deal with again!

@KiOgon can make you one of these for sure, I've got one of his prewired VVT kits in a PJ bass with the series / parallel pull pot on the tone knob. It's great!

Hey all, Had the Helix cut out on me a couple of times over 2 gigs, so I've put a ticket into Line 6 and I'm awaiting their response now. Had it on at home for hours on end and it's not cut out even once since. Had no problems with it at all for 18 months since I got it. Got me thinking I should really have something to hand which is easy to carry around & can be setup quickly should the helix fail again ( I play ampless these days). Used to have a Tech21 Para Driver when I was using a traditional pedal board and was always really impressed, so that's one for my list. I also like the Dug Pinnick preamp thing too. I'll be buying used if possible, and on paper the Para Driver seems to be the winner as it'll be cheaper and can be phantom powered. From your own experiences, Any others I should consider? I'm specifically thinking about something with a DI out. Don't want 2 boxes! Ideally no more than £150-ish too! Cheers!

I thought this too - They used to have a Fella with big curly hair From Wikipedia - The Killers released a statement on August 28, 2017, confirming that neither Stoermer nor Keuning would participate in the band's upcoming Wonderful Wonderful World Tour, while reiterating that both are still members of the band. Jake Blanton would continue to fill in for Stoermer while touring guitarist/keyboardist Ted Sablay would fill in for Keuning.[68]
