Here I offer a rare Ibanez SR 1000E bass from the early Soundgear series from 1988/1989 in a very good condition. The SR1000E was one of the top models of the Soundgear line and was manufactured in Japan at the legendary FujiGen Gakki factory. By the way, the sunburst finish is extremely rare to find in this quality. The bass has innovative features, high-quality components and outstanding playability. In terms of sound and handling, the bass reminds me a lot of the Spector USA or Euro models. The condition is good to very good considering the age of the bass. The laquer has a few scratches and small dents typical of its age. The frets are at about 80-90% according to my estimation. Here still the conclusion of a test report from 1990 from the German magazine "Guitar and Bass": "The SR1000E is not without reason the top model of the Soundgear series, since Ibanez has combined here the very good handling characteristics together with extremely flexible and yet manageable electronics. This bass should be able to meet the ever-changing demands of modern bassists over an extended period of time." Country of origin: Japan Scale length: 864 mm, long scale Neck width: 38 mm (nut), 53 mm (12th fret), 60 mm (24th fret) Body: ash Neck: maple, three-stripe Fingerboard: Ebony Pickup: DiMarzio (Ibanez Custom) P-/J-Type Electronics: 9V active EQ, Power Curve System Controls: Master Volume, PU Balance, Frequency Select Switch: Power-Curve Switch Hardware: Gotoh Omni-Adjust Bridge, encapsulated Gotoh tuners Weight: 3,7 kg A brief remark to the Power-Curve-System: The frequency pot selects the frequency similar to a passive tone shutter. The triple toggle switch is on bypass and raises the frequency ranges differently in two positions. This makes three different, high-quality sounds directly available.

For a long time I've been looking for a Le Fay Herr Schwarz (Mr. Black) as a 4-string and recently finally found. Optics, haptics and ergonomics are the absolute madness and are certainly unparalleled in the bass industry. The bass is bursting with innovative details and the finest craftsmanship (integrated saddle, three-dimensional shaping, recessed tuners, etc.). These ingredients make the Le Fay sound like a perfect piano string tone, which is finely resolved in all frequencies and always differentiated. Now to "my problem": For several years I play only P-basses and occasionally a passive J. Therefore, "my sound" has also developed more in a classical direction, so that I am now with "much more dirt" on the road. With the really very noble sound of the Le Fay I can no longer make friends to 100%. Therefore, I offer the black gentleman here exactly at the price I recently paid myself. Still a bargain and shipping is also included! For those who don't know this living legend of bass building yet, here's some additional information: Body: ash, solid, two-piece Neck: Padouk, 5-strip with graphite rods Fretboard: Padouk, 22 frets plus zero fret Scale length: 860mm (long scale) Pickups: 2x Rough Crystal humbuckers, passive Electronics: volume (push/pull - active/passive), 4-position PU selector, bass, treble Weight: 4,2 kg Current new price: from 4.450 EUR Accessories: excellent Canto gig bag with LeFay logo The condition is used, but except for two belt buckle scratches really very good. The black finish reflects properly and is free of any defects. By the way, the headstock is not painted black but veneered with a fine wood. The bass can be seen, tested and bought in 58300 Wetter (Ruhr) / Germany. Next week I will drive to Nuremberg via Frankfurt and Würzburg and could even offer a delivery with personal handover. If you have any questions, just ask me. I'd be happy to exchange it for a Sadowsky NYC 4-string or similar P-/J-grenades. Gladly also with proper co-payment from my side! 💰💰💰 But now I'm curious ...

Hi there! Here I am offering my beautiful and quite rare MUSICMAN CLASSIC SABRE in Inca Silber with shell pickguard. Based on the serial number the bass was manufactured on May 20th 2014 in San Luis Obispo (CA, USA) facility. Beside the two special designed humbucker pickups the Classic Sabre features a 5-way-switch and a 2-band-active-EQ. In this way you can easily produce every authentic sound between a Stingray, a Thunderbird and a really good P-bass. In addition the bridge allows for using the string mutes to “simulate” old flatwound strings. Regarding the woods the neck is made from wonderful birdseye maple with a fine rosewood fretboard. The body is made from dense ash. Although the body is quite small the Classic Sabre weighs 4,3 kg. I am really not good in describing sounds and handling, since this is a totally subjective feeling. So please refer to all this professional reviews and videos if you need more information on that. The condition of the bass is very good and well maintained. But there is only a dent on the front of the body, which is visible (please see pictures). Otherwise, the bass shows no signs of use. The MUSICMAN CLASSIC SABRE is located in Germany near Dortmund, but can be shipped Europe-wide. The shipping costs can be split between seller and buyer. Shipping will be securely packed and insured in a hard case. Please ask if you have any questions. I will try to answer immediately. NO TRADES please!!!

Hi bass guys, now I really tried the best of the best, but I am not getting familiar with J-style instruments and active basses. Therefore my very rare and beautiful CELINDER J UPDATE 4 is for SALE. Here are the specs: Luthier: Christian Celinder Model: J Updade 4 Color: Burgundy Mist Body: Alder Neck: Maple Fretboard: Jacaranda with Block Inlays and Binding Compound Fingerboard Radius Pickups: 2 Celinder Custom J Pickups Preamp: Greengrove preamp (Vol, Vol, Tone, Bass Boost/Cut) with pre-setting possibilites (see pics) Weight: 4.2 kg The instrument has an unbelievably even tone and limitless punch. That's why Christian Celinders instruments are often described as European Sadowskys. The overall condition is very good. The instrument just got a full service (electronics, battery compartment, cleaning of frets and fretboard, new R'Cocco strings and setup) from luthier Knut Reiter in Germany. The Celinder J Update 4 comes with a sturdy vintage case. I will ship worldwide. Shipping fees and insurance has to be covered by the buyer. Thanks for reading! Please feel free to ask further question!

:: SANDBERG California TTi - Lollar TBs :: Soft-Aged :: Special Run :: only 15 pieces worldwide :: Here I offer my gorgeous and just bought Sandberg California TTi Bass. The Sandberg California Bass should be well known regarding. The special feature of this special model, limited to 15 pieces, are certainly the Lollar Thunderbird pickups. These give the bass not only a particularly cool look, but also a very powerful and defined sound. The output and the dynamics are on the level of active basses despite the passive circuit. Another special feature is the color "Light Grey", which is more reminiscent of a faded sonic blue and harmonizes super with the chrome-plated hardware. The bass has received the Sandberg soft-aging. All marks and scratches come as "from the factory" and are created by the luthier. It's a matter of taste - I think it's pretty cool! I bought the bass at Zoundhouse music store (Dresden / Germany) at the beginning of this year. Unfortunately, two weeks ago an ultra-rare and always on my wish list Celinder J Update came across my way. It cost me a lot of money and since the 30-day return period had just expired, I am now offering this special bass as new at a reduced price. The bass comes with an original Sandberg gig bag, which can be exchanged for a case in "vintage tweed design" if desired. The bass can be seen, played and bought in 58300 Wetter (Ruhr), Dortmund or Recklinghausen (Germany). Since I'm on vacation on Sylt next week, a free "delivery service" to the north of Germany would also be possible. Otherwise I also offer free shipping within Germany and worldwide shipping upon request. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Here is the official "press release" and the technical data: The Sandberg Special Edition California T4 Passive RW Light Grey Soft Aged electric bass comes as a special run of the popular California-T model, limited to 15 pieces, with a specially designed finish and powerful Lollar Thunderbird HB pickups, which together with the straightforward passive circuitry make it a first-class all-round bass for almost any style of rock or metal. In addition to the offset alder body, the four-stringer also features a bolt-on maple neck with rosewood fingerboard and comfortable "C" profile, while indestructible Sandberg hardware completes the features of the Special Edition California T4 Passive RW Light Grey Soft Aged by Sandberg. :: Alder body in offset design :: bolt-on maple neck with rosewood fingerboard and matching headstock :: Abalone dots fretboard inlays :: scale length: 864 mm (34") :: Fretboard radius: 14" :: nut width: 39,5 mm (1,55") :: 22 frets :: pickups: 2x Lollar Thunderbird style :: passive electronics with volume, balance and tone :: Parchment pickguard :: Sandberg Lightweight tuners and Sandberg hardware :: Color: Light Grey (RAL7035) :: Sandberg soft-aging :: incl. bag :: Original price: 2.390,-- EUR :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Feel free to ask any questitions - but please: NO TRADES!

After a long pondering I offer here my ultra rare Don Grosh Jazz Bass in the unique color "Ice Blue Metallic". Don Grosh is known in this country especially for his noble and super-resonant guitars in 7ender style. But every few years there is a "run" of 25 basses, which are then always sold directly. For those who don't know Don Grosh: Don's basses are in a league with the big boutique Jazz Bass builders like Roger Sadowsky, Christian Celinder, Aleš Vychodil, Alleva Coppolo, etc.. This starts with the quality of the woods and goes through the high quality hardware (Lindy Fralin, Aguilar, Hipshot,...) to the absolutely flawless build quality. In my opinion, the 7ender custom store is nowhere near this level with their instruments. Here are the specs: Manufacturer: Don Grosh Guitars (Broomfield Colorado, USA) Model: J4 Body Wood: Alder Finish Type: Aged Satin Lacquer Finish Finish Color: Ice Blue Metallic Neck Wood: Maple, 864 mm / 34" / Longscale Fretboard: Rosewood with 21 Frets Nut Width: 41 mm (Saddle), 57 mm (12th fret) Neck Dots: Aged Vintage Bridge: Gotoh High Mass Bridge 201-B4 Chrome Tuners: Hipshot Ultralite HB6C Pickups: Lindy Fralin Custom Jazz Bass Pickups Electronics: Aguilar OBP-2, 18V Cockpit: Volume / Volume incl. Push-Pull Passive-Active / Treble / Bass Price new: 3.590 EUR The J4 is enormously resonant and already unplugged much louder than other basses. The body is a "modernized" and therefore very comfortable "smooth-J-Style". The neck is kept quite slim and allows for very low string positions - absolutely buzz-free. Sound-wise, I'm really bad at verbal descriptions. But I would say that the J4 delivers the typical J-sounds with an extra portion of definition, enormous dynamics and silky shine. Otherwise just have a look on the World-Wide-Web - there are a few reports. But I'm also happy to send tests and/or soundfiles on request. The bass is absolutely unmodified and in excellent condition. The bass comes with the original case (see pictures). The instrument can be shipped safely packed worldwide. The shipping costs as well as the transport insurance will be paid by the buyer. By the way: Why am I selling such an instrument at all? This is the question I am asking myself right now. But I just can't warm up to Jazz basses and I'm more the Preci type. Therefore, please no trade offers, unless you have a noble P or PJ bass. I would also be interested in a bass with Lollar-TBs like DeGier or Mike Lull. Now the usual terms: This is a private sale of a used product. Therefore I exclude any form of guarantees, warranties or redemptions. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
