Hi there. I'm Conor, a young bassist from the Cardiff area. I'm looking to join a covers band that gigs mainly on weekends as I still have commitments in school. I do have another band, but that's only just starting up. I want to get out and gig, have some fun, gain some more experience and have a little extra money in my pocket. I'm a well rounded player, been playing for 5 years in a few bands, so I have experience playing in bands and know the lay of the land. I would be able to play everything you throw at me in your average covers band. My main bass is a Spector Rebop and I have a TC Electronics BH500 as a head. i have no cab at the moment (one of the reasons I'd like to gig) but I'm able to borrow/rent one. Transport may be an issue at times, as I'm not able to drive, but it shouldn't too much of a problem. If you're interested, shoot a PM my way here or reply to the thread. I forgot to mention, One of the amps are in Caerphilly at my drummers house, so if anyone's interested in that sort of area I can go and pick it up and take it to you the same day.

I have one of these beautiful looking basses for sale, due to me needing funds for a new cab (edit: Just ordered my ticket for Sonisphere so I need money to go towards that instead) and I don't play it as much after getting my Spector. Bought about 3 years ago from Cranes in Cardiff for £549, I'm looking for £275, but I'm willing to be lenient on the price. Here's some specs: 5 string 3.4 kg 3 band active EQ Spalted maple top Maple/mahogany neck through design Mahogany wings 34 inch scale Single humbucker It's a great bass, really light, very fast neck, comfortable to play. You can get some great tones out of it, can be very smooth or very stingray-esque. It's has some cosmetic wear on the front, but it's not noticeable at all (edit: since posting I have had this repaired). The battery cover has come off, but it's a very easy fix, and the battery fits in very snugly and doesn't fall out at all. Sorry about the not so good quality photos, I can take some more if anyone wants them. I'm in the Cardiff/Pontypridd area, looking for pickup only (may be willing toship though if you can cover the costs) I have two Roland Cube amps for sale, please check them out! I have two of these to sell, reason being I just bought a new TC Electronics head and need some money for a cab to go with it. As new condition, never been taken out of the house. A good little practice amp that has enough power for a medium volume rehearsal, and the on board effects come in quite handy and are good fun to play around with. I don't have any pictures taken at the moment, but if you want any I'll take some and upload them as soon as I can. I bought the one for £200 last year and acquired the other in a trade, so I think £100 ono each is a fair deal. Both are in the same condition.
