    Just bought a Mesa Walkabout Scout combo from essexbasscat. It's fantastic, properly used and well cared for. In better condition even than in the listing. What a nice, honest person with an encyclopaedic knowledge of basses and equipment. I really hope to get something from him again.

    Hi, I wanted to ask a couple questions about the lovely Vigier Passion you’ve got for sale. Was a single cavity created with a separate mount onto which pickups attach, or is that surround just cosmetic? How easy would it be to swap to other pickups? What’s fret wear like, the frets look OK but it’s good to know. Cheers, Jon

    Apart from the pickup selector, what do the other controls do? Isn't the E active? If so, how do you change the battery and where are the switches for the pick attack & boost?

    He also sells on eBay, so beware. I got similar levels of abuse a while back just for asking about the condition of a bass he was selling there.
