The only down side is that when singing I can hear nothing but my internal fold back so a bit of adjustment has been needed so I make sure I play the right notes when singing cos if I don't I can't hear the error.
It's the main drawback of earplugs (though it can also be a boon, for those occasions when the monitoring ain't so good). I suppose the solution, if you want it, is IEMs. S.P.
 2.
All plans for a spare 6.0 are now off. I wonder if it's much heavier? That's bloody ridiculous.
The 9.0 is supposedly 4lb. The 6.0 was 3.75lb. So there's not much in it. S.P.
 3.
Interesting article on the concert here... http://jmdl.com/library/view.cfm?id=1217
Great article, thanks. S.P.
 4. Harmony Music is the only one that I know of S.P.
 5.
Or could anyone recommened another good lead?
Our very own OBBM S.P.
 6. You forgot to mention where you're based. I happen to know that it's Farnborough, but most people wouldn't. S.P.
 7. It doesn't have the same detail of control as the MXR pedals, but it's a decent pedal. Very robustly built. I'd advise against powering it from batteries though - in my experience, once your battery is down to 80% capacity, the Digitech will reject it (with a loud, high-pitched, ascending tone that terrifies your bandmates). Not cool. Not at all cool. S.P.
 8. There's a thread on the Muse board here. I found it with this Google search. S.P.
 9.
Bet you polish that control panel evry night!
Handle it with white gloves, and you should only need to polish it once a week, tops. Also, what's with all the 4272x2848 photos? You think that we might be planning on printing up some billboards? S.P.
 10.
RIGHT: Having a Tommy Tank
At least that makes it easier to control the mouse. S.P.
 11.
Eeeuck! Is that really a bass in spalted pink dapple?
The wood panelling behind the bass has a pinkish hue to it too - I think that it's possible that any apparent pinkness is actually caused by the camera, or its operator. But I don't know for certain. S.P.
 12.
...the 5 PP3's it has inside it to run 2 x 18v preamps and the lights on the top of the neck...
"Band practise on Thursday, WalMan?" "Sorry, can't. Changing my batteries that night." S.P.
 13.
Me too. I give it a year before there's a different amp (or at least a "backup" amp) with me though, I am fickle and I want an Eden Nemesis again.
Yeah, you've got a point actually. I've been tempted by lightweight amps in the past, and I'm sure that I will be tempted again in the future. I wouldn't mind being able to sling my amp over my shoulder and free up my left hand. S.P.
 14.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6oIkgI69gE makes me laugh everytime... ...oh, and if you've never seen this, it's all you'll think of when you hear it from now on. sorry
Peaked at 0:15. S.P.
 15.
...I dont have fun playing with other people anymore...
Correction - you mean that you don't have fun playing with this particularly guitarist any more. Try something else. S.P.
 16.
I cant wait to post in this thread again soon....
Conversely, I'm planning on never having to post in this thread again (unless you guys are interested in seeing what my rig looks like now that the LH500 is in a rack bag). S.P.
 17.
Ah! Gazumping is back!!
Back? I didn't think that it ever left. S.P.
 18. I've never seen you play, so yeah, maybe you are sh*t. But it sounds to me like you are your own biggest critic. If you're enjoying it, keep playing, and keep striving to achieve what you consider to be a decent standard of rhythmic fortitude and music theory knowledge. If not, then I'll offer you £55 for the Shuker. S.P.
 19.
47. Stylon Pilson: £10, a Hartke LH500 and a Barefaced Compact. And probably a fretless Aria Sinsonido
Still coming, but in the light of the number of amps that people are bringing (and the healthy representation of the Barefaced stable) I'm wondering if I really need to bring the rig. Thoughts, anybody? S.P.
 20.
Good call mate!
You do know that that £10 is intended for the entrance fee, right? It's not just going to be sat there on top of my amp, waiting for some random basser to pick it up. S.P.
 21. Okay, I just searched the "Items Wanted" thread for the terms punch + factory and couldn't find a thread started by you. Are you sure that it's there? Edit: or are you talking about your post in "For Sale: Effects" where you offer your Zoom B2 in exchange for one? S.P.
 22.
they wouldn't need to boast about it... like apple.
I'm a little confused here - by "like Apple" do you mean "Behringer boast about their products, like Apple" or "Apple are an example of a company who don't boast about their products." S.P.
 23. I agree, in principle, but there's no way that you'll ever be able to get people to do that. You'd be better off bumping your "wanted" listing once a week or so. S.P.
 24.
I had a giant generic Barefaced manual but it's too long and complicated
I have to say, I really liked the long, complicated manual. But maybe that's just me. S.P.
 25. That'll be 3600W PMPO. The RMS rating (as used by other manufacturers) will be much less. S.P.
