3. I had this one (red face) and SM400 too...well I remember I made easy rewireing inside to 230V...but I'm not sure with this one
4. I keep my eyes on these basses ...looks like realy great basses. I found SB4000 and SB000 in EU-Germany, hard to find SB's in EU today... http://www.station-music.de/

6. for gallery and audio files click here: http://moon-jj4.wz.cz/ You can compare Moon JJ-4 records with my Marcus Miller V and Fender Road Worn: http://marcusmillerfive.wz.cz/ http://www.roadwornjazz.wz.cz/
7. I bought this bass on BassChat from Platypus http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=91690&hl=moon I just decide to let it go becouse I found I stick with my Marcus Miller V (maybe forever) . I love my Marcus V. and I use it like only one instrument more often than hi-end basses which I had or have. Here is short info and review of Moon Bass offered by me: maple neck ebony fret board swamp ash body bridge/tuning machines/pickups and preamp… everything is by Moon It is light instrument. The bass sounds very deep, has long sustain playbility is fantastic, absolutely straight neck, truss rod working just perfect, frets like new condition…nice work. This is chance to buy Moon JJ-4 for very good money, specialy If you know for how much these instruments goes as used and how much you will pay for new. Bass sounds modern with the Moon Black bird preamp, but for me sounds even better wired passive (though I like active instruments)...If you run this bass passive you can get realy great jazz bass sound. I’ll sale this bass for 600GBP+shipping (thats what I paid for that bass included shipping and fees). thanks for looking Wimpy
8. I have like new condition Schaller 2000 bridge in box with unused screws, I'm looking for Aguilar OBP3-SK/PP, maybe Aguilar Compressor or Octamizer (+cash). Maybe good pair of singles for Fender JB 5 (not Nondstrands, EMG's)...thank you Wimpy sound files: http://marcusmillerfive.wz.cz/
9.
BadAss Bridge Other replacement bridges are available (e.g. Hipshot, Schaller, Trevor Wilkinson, Gotoh etc.) but the BadAss seems to have become the accepted standard for Fender-type basses and is actually supplied by Fender on some models.
here is couple other bridges to compare...maybe it will help be help for somebody: http://marcusmillerfive.wz.cz/ my post from TB: Bridges: Fender stock vs. Hipshot "A" vs. Schaller 2000 on Fender Marcus Miller V I made some audio files with these bridges...Well Fender is more organic but little "empty" and little unbalanced. Hipshot "A"/brass sounds tight, balanced but to compressed and there is less bottom and less dynamics. There is little compression with Schaller but is fuller, tight, less higs, very well balanced...I want to try Hipshot B style and Hipshot Vintage in future but I feel I stay with the Schaller 2000 Check this link for audio and pictures: http://marcusmillerfive.wz.cz/

16. ...mine is let say very light, not ultralight but not heavy at all...for me is Marcus 5 instrument which can cover two instruments "Fender Slap mashine" and "Modern Fiver" It also has very good low B...original pre was strange, I could boost just bass freqeunces a little. If i did little too much it was good reggae sound . Well highs are too sharp on Fender pre for my taste even when I moved pot just a little...Now I'm very happy with Aguilar OBP3...I will instal Hipshot A bridge next week, I change strings very often and Fender bridges are not comfy for quick strings replacement...I have this bass over year and I use it for 80% of shows...I'm very very happy with this instrument
17. Hey come on basschaters!...this guy needs your help!!! I'm sure somebody will be very very happy with this SKB!!! ...Mine Roscoe replace my Ken Smith BT6 (I had KS from 1995)
