Monsters of Rock '92. Almighty, Thunder, Wasp, Skid Row, Slayer and Iron Maiden. In '93 I staryed going to Glastonbury every year for the next 6 or 7. Absolutely loved it, it opened my mind to all sorts of music I'd never really given a chance to.

OK, fair play, he gave an astonishing performance. I still think he should get an adult guitar. The 3/4 size one makes him look like a giant.

Ok, he's absolutely nailed 'Bloodstream' he might win me round yet.

I realise the whole acoustic guitar and looper thing is his thing, but I reckon he'd be better off with a band. And a grown up's guitar.

There's something utterly joyous about watching older performers/bands, who must know their golden age is over, going out and not only winning over that massive crowd but absolutely slaying it. Best Glasto set I've watched this year.

Chic are absolutely nailing it at Glasto. I'm watching it live (hopefully uninterrupted by presenters) on iplayer, but I think it's also on BBC2.

String degradation happens so slowly it can be almost unnoticeable, especially if you practice every day.

Off topic. Currently watching Katy Perry. As I suspected the band, and especially the bass player are world class.

It's a cycical thing. We get the same sort of articles over here every few years. I remember journalists claiming guitar music was dying in the 90s just before the Britpop explosion of the 90s, and again shortly before Artic Monkeys inspired a whole load of new guitar bands.

I'm not sure it exists. I looked into blue tooth wireless about a year ago,in all the systems I found reviwed, all of them had too much latency for live practice or performance.

At that level you're not buying an instrument, your investing capital into an object you hope is going to significantly appreciate in value over the next few years or at the very worst it won't depreciate. People do the same with art and vintage Ferraris. Onve aquired it goes into storage never to be viewed again until the next sale.

Listened to the first song which I enjoyed ina sort of bewildered way. Will check the rest out later. Worth watching just to see the world's smallest pair of maracas.
