  5. Tone Dexter from Audio Sprockets Welcome to the sale of my Tone Dexter pedal, I bought this pedal to use with my double bass because it can be used replicate the pure acoustic sound of the bass when using a piezo pickup. This is useful because the only real alternative is using a microphone, which for live purposes is not advisable because double basses are prone to feedback when mic'd up. Unfortunately, I've not used it much as I've not done any gigs, so it is now surplus to requirements. It is in amazing condition and quite easy to program with it comes with the original box, manual and 9v power supply. Here is some useful information from Audio Sprockets: It's simple and it will change the way you play live. Studio Sound Combined with the Convenience of a Piezo Pickup ToneDexter restores the rich body tone of your acoustic instrument to the pickup using proprietary digital signal processing technology combined with a pristine analog signal path. Audio Sprockets has created a way to learn the difference between the sound coming from the pickup, and the sound coming from a microphone, placed in front of the instrument, and use that information to create a transformation called a WaveMap. Once you have stored your mic sound into ToneDexter, simply plug in your instrument and play. ToneDexter works with guitar, violin, mandolin, dobro, banjo, upright bass, and most other acoustic stringed instruments. Located in Wigan or can be posted.
  6. EBS Reidmar 250w Bass Amp Head - £250 The EBS Bass Cab is sold Sadly, I'm having to sell some my bass gear due to lack of use, including this amazing EBS Reidmar Bass 250w Amp The amp is surprisingly loud for a 250w amp plus it sounds fantastic, just check out the reviews on line. I have owned it for about three years and it in that time I have gigged with it twice and it was more than capable of handling any loud drummer. So, for most of the time it has been in the house and as you can see from the pictures it has had very little use at all. I am open to offers for the amp. Local collection from the Wigan area only (Greater Manchester). 7. Barefaced Super Compact Bass Cab Sadly, I'm having to sell some my bass gear due to lack of use, including this amazing Barefaced Bass Cab. I have owned this cab for about three years and it in that time it has not left the house, in fact it has had very little use at all. As you can see the from the pictures it is in amazing condition which is not surprising as it has not been gigged. Its super lightweight, easy to carry with a small stage footprint and it sounds amazing. It's a 1x12" with but has the fatness and depth to match some of the best 2x12" and 4x10" cabs. The cab comes with a Roqsolid cover. Local collection from the Wigan area only (Greater Manchester). Dimensions (H x W x D) 56cm x 44cm x 30cm 22" x 17.5" x 12" Weight Steel Grill 11kg / 23.5lbs Broadband Sensitivity 97dB Max Amp Power 600W RMS Max Output~127dB Frequency Range 30Hz -4kHz Impedance 8 ohms
  8. Hi Good luck with the sale, you got some good stuff there. Could you tell me where in the UK you got the Nadine Ear Trumpet from? Cheers Tony
  9. Hi that's a really nice bass, does it have a label inside the body? cheers
  10. Hi, I'm selling a collection of old Double Bass strings which have been gathering dust in the drawer. They are all well used plus and so obviously they won't sound that great. Also I've labelled them in the pics however, I'm not 100% sure if they are correct. I'm not sure of the makes except for the single Spirocore. Some of them have been cut short, so will not fit a regular double bass, they should, however, fit on an EUB or similar. If you are interested please check the lengths before committing. £10 posted. Many thanks Tony
  11. Yeah, you're right, the results you can get are on par with more professional brands. cheers
  12. Behringer B-1 Large-diaphragm condenser microphone I've had this mic for a couple of years and it's been great for my home recording projects. Essentially it is a budget microphone but can give great results when set up right. I've used it for bass, vocals and guitars and it has been brilliant. I'm selling it as I've now upgraded to a Audio Technica. It works on phantom power, so a mixing desk or audio interface with 48v phantom is needed. It has a few marks on the body but is still in good condition. £40 p&p included Spec 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range Cardioid Roll-off attenuator switch Phantom power (48V) Robust housing 10 dB pad switch Including case Many thanks Tony
  13. Celemony Melodyne 5 Essential This is an audio 'plugin' called Melodyne Essential (the basic version) which is used for pitch and timing correction for vocals and other instruments in a DAW. I received this piece of software for free when I bought some gear from Thomann. It is regarded as one of the best on the market but unfortunately I don't have any use for it. So, if you have a DAW such as Ableton, Logic Pro, Cubase etc..it might be of some use. It will be obtained as a download from the Celemony website and is activated by a license number, which I have, and will be given to whoever buys this plugin. It is compatible with PC or Mac. Click below for more information. https://www.celemony.com/en/melodyne/melodyne-5-editions Now £30
  14. EBS Microbass II I bought this a couple of years ago just before lock-down but has been sitting here in its box ever since. It is In fantastic condition, it has never been gigged and in fact has only been used a couple of times in my home studio. Comes with box and generic power supply. Located in the Wigan area. Now £150 Secured postage is included in the price.
