4x15

Didn't Trace Elliot have a 4x15" at some point?
2. Sterling 4H inside (compensated) nut to front of pickup 74.8mm (to rear of pickup 79.7mm). All measurements +/- 1mm.
3.
guitar guitar in birmingham have a black one in stock http://www.guitargui...160620298818008
And it's a fairly new one too. Note the bear icon on the back of the headstock. This must mean there's a demand for them, albeit lower than for Stingrays.
4.
I imagine it is more the guitar side as they have some fantastic new high quality guitars out.
Right on! Have you seen the St. Vincent model? Wow, just wow!
5.
BLACK Marco, musos like BLACK
Not so loud! Green with envy Trace Elliot users may be listening in...
6. Bloody hell! That's a lot of money... I suspect the law of diminishing returns rears its ugly head.
7. If the Glockenklang preamp is anything like their bass amps (like a wire with gain) it may be lacking grit and grunt. Can you run the bass passive into an outboard preamp of some sorts?
8.
... so changed back to rounds.
What kind of RW strings? Mine is strung with MM's default Slinky's ATM. Planning on trying DR Fat Beams on it.
9.
GAK have a natural one in stock now at a really low price compared to normal
Wow what a beaut! Price is a no-brainer, I see them going for much more when new. I love mine. The neck is great but not as sleek as the neck on my Lakland DJ4. The Sterling is a bit fatter back to front, the oil finish feels silky.
10. Since the neck is made of wood (I presume) it will always exhibit some movement. Changes in temperature and humidity will cause a neck to move somewhat. It is not uncommon to have to adjust the neck a bit with the changing of the seasons.
11. check neck relief. neck too straight perhaps.
12. There's no substitute for the real thing. Get both! DJ4 with DJ-Retro preamp & EBMM Sterling.
13.
There was an early 80's Trace cab, which had a 12"/15"/18" in a column..but no idea if it had a name - think it was from the Soundwave PA days.
This might the one...
14. I have this memory of a monster of a Trace Elliot cabinet that was made up from four different speaker sizes (10/12/15/18 perhaps) all stacked up on top of eachother. Did it really exist or am I losing it? If it did exist, who owned one and how did it sound? Pics?
15. Great job. Looks better than original IMO. I bet they sound better now too... When do you start taking orders?
16. Surprised to see two jack inputs on it TBH. As pointed out, if possible use Speakon instead. It is a better way of connecting cabs to amps. Allows for heavier gauge wire to be used (if the application demands it or if you're a show-off).
17. Doesn't seem "ouch" to me. Quite normal for a Skyline Lakland IMO. I would love to hear a DJ sonic...
