  1. I play the rig like Rick-O-Sound. my bass is wired stereo. The bass pickup cabinet is on the floor. I usually sit on it. thanks for your help…🤔 Edit:…plus nobody ever said they couldn’t hear me…
  2. The local popular bar. Small, dirty and cramped. Messy set up, I didn’t feel that good last night. But the rig and bass killed it as usual!
  3. Ditto! In my opinion…these cabs deliver! I never worry about them.
  4. I’ve had this LED VU meter around the house for a very long time. I added it to my mini stereo bass rig for an extra little bling.
  5. Love this thread here too! My main gigging rig these days. Custom stereo Jazz bass wired stereo. Two GK MB-200 heads. Roland GP-8 effects unit for the bridge PU only. A Roland FC-100/EV-5, foot controller(not in pic). One MarkBass 102, 8 Ohm cab on the top, one MarkBass 102, 4 Ohm cab on the bottom(neck PU). For a total of about 350 Watts. I love it.
  6. His best work was with the Beatles! 🤪
  7. Outside gig, large pavilion. Hot and sticky out. The rig and bass sounded great! I used a cab for a stool…Ha!
  8. The made in USA sticker is a nice touch….😐
  9. Gig last night. The cab on the bottom is a stage cab I used to elevate my rig. Stereo rig and bass.
  10. I’m working on that… I have a taller one but got a shorter one coming.
  11. I’ll take your word for it…but the specs say 200 Watts at 4 Ohms. A screen capture of the GK site.
  12. Well, they are both 200 Watts @4 Ohms. I’d say yes they’re about the same in volume. Personally, I think the GK MB-200 has a warmer, gooey tone over all. The tone just suits my tastes well. I will use the MbB200 as a spare for my 2 X GK stereo rig. No offense to the ELF though, they are very nice!
  13. I ended up returning mine…it worked fine. I got another MB200 as a spare and I was half the price of the elf. And I like the GK a lot better. Maybe I’ll get another one used cheaper because I do like them… I’m retired and gotta look at the bottom line…$.
  14. After sending a TC Bam200 back for overheating problems. I got an ELF. I used last night at a small bar/tavern. I got it for a backup for my twin GK MB-200 stereo rig. The ELV sounded nice with lot of headroom and punched through pretty good into the mix.
  15. Very affordable! I’ll get another I’m sure!
  16. My mini stereo rig and custom stereo bass.
  17. I didn’t take notice at the time whether the fan was working or not…it was cutting out mid song. It was very hot, even the ac cord end and speaker plug was hot. The metal case seemed to be burn you hand hot! The fan worked a couple of days ago when I tested at my home. I already returned it and even got a credit on my account already. I really wanted another GK MB-200 but Amazon didn’t have any, my credit was on my account at Amazon. I did get an ELF class D head. I’ve wanted one of those too for a while. Although…twice the price or so. We’ll see what happens next.
  18. Well… I tried it on a gig last night. TC head/one 4 Ohm MarkBass 102 cab. Maybe turned up half way. I was starting to kinda like the tone…it cut into the mix very well. It started cutting in/out after 12 songs…very hot. I could leave my hand on the top of it very long. No smells of electronic burning. I had my other GK head with me and it…as usual…sounded great and most importantly, it didn’t fail me. As much as I want to keep it…it’s going back… if I get one super cheap, I may get another just for around the house…but after one gig/test it failed me.
  19. An old Peavey Mk IV had 2 channels., with separate eq’s. at here is a version of MarkBass MoMark that had 2 channels. All my basses are wired stereo. This is what I use these days.
  20. I just checked my gain LED’s, they do not have an amber light between the green and red. Maybe it was changed at some point. But, you can turn the gain up pretty far before the red starts blinking.
