I had an old Digitech BP8 years back with a tube in the front end. Certainly gave an edge to the tone although apart from a lush chorus everything else was almost unusable apart from the eq, but we are going back 10 years. I wonder how the Zoom tube fits in the chain on this one. Well also worth checking out and looks to be a little cheaper than the Boss.

Been looking into one of these and on paper seems to tick all the boxes. Some UK outlets are now confirming this is in stock and I know some people on here pre-ordered, so just wondering if anyone has theres yet and if so, your thoughts.

Floor pedal chromatic tuner by Planet Waves in excellent condition. Dead accurate for bass. Always sat on my amp so no marks. 4 months old. Looking to go with an all in one effects unit with built-in tuner so this is no longer required. £45.00 including postage. Masonic at the Holiday Inn in Brighton last night. Been feeling a little inspired all week by a Who documentry I saw several days ago, so most songs ended up with Entwistleish overtones. I'm in the same frame of mind so tonights gig will be pretty similar I think.

Well I've been A/Bing this Epifani cab and my Tech on gigs and in the garage for the past couple of weeks and to be honest I've got myself into a mess in so far as I just don't know which one to let go. Although a little different in tone and spec they both tick all the boxes for what I need. I've already advertised the Tech on here with some interest but I need to sell one of them, and whichever I am left with I'll be happy with. So I'm looking for £500 cash on collection from Bromley, South London. This also includes a cover.
That's not ALL the info Where are you based? Do you still have the box for it and manual? If you are within personal pick up range, then what's the cost? Cheque? Paypal? I'm interested in getting this but need a bit more info.
Hi Scoop, Based in South London. Will accept cheque, although internet bank transfer preferred and quicker for buyer to receive the tuner. No Paypal I'm afraid Will take £95 including postage or £90 cash on collection. I bought this as part of a rack setup from a fellow Basschatter so did not come with box or manual but the original owner still has these I understand so may be possible to send these on. Thanks -

I noticed an obvious difference when changing to the Groove Tubes but possibly the original valve was so knackered that was the reason. Either way the Groove Tubes sounded fine.

Part Ex possible on MM Sterling or Fender American Jazz Deluxe plus cash difference. You can always PM with what you have, you never know. Definately no fretless basses. Thanks for looking.

Anything that other band members do that wind you up
whynot replied to dabootsy's topic in General Discussion
Well overall I'm happy with my band at the moment but a couple of things that got me going recently.... We had to learn the opening dance for a wedding and I along with most others had a couple of listens and jotted down chord progressions. The only person who made a complete hash of it was the keyboard player due to not making the effort I presume. I stopped playing half way through as my correct notes were making it sound worse. The singer did not know what the hell was going on behind her. This all on video. We had a similar issue a month later on a different song where I had to shout out to the keyboard player we are now in the chorus. Also when a singer turns up at a gig and decided he or she know wants to sing something in a different key. Not what you need at a moments notice for a nine piece band with brass. I can wind myself up quite easily when I make silly mistakes on songs I've played for ages. -

At last, one of those rare manufactures who understands what many gigging bassists are missing in a micro amp. Adjustable compressor + mute switch + bridging capability if 2 seperate power sections. As the Euros not in our favour I presume we wont see many of these around the UK.
