I had a Td650 a while back and replaced the original valve with a Groove Tubes, purchased direct from Bernie Goodfellow the EBS distributor. I rarely used the valve setting but when switched in it was an obvious improvement over the original.

Same as WOT, although my parents bought me a bass for my 16th birthday instead of the matching Jedson guitar I pointed out a week earlier. Didn't ever really make an effort in learning to play, just worked some things out along the way. My playing started to take a turn for the better aged 21 to 24 where I joined a signed band in Germany and we toured 6 months of the year. Playing night after night I started to develop some technique which put me on track for the next 20+ years.

Tech Soundsystems cab in very good condition. Only selling as I have 2 of these plus another cab and I need to fund some other gear. Mine is the 4 ohm version and specs are exactly as stated. Variable tweeter control and speakon inputs. Also has a jack input for turning the tweeter off via footswitch (not included). The cab has been well looked after, works perfectly. Very clean externally but there are some minor marks on the grill, but no dents. Cash on collection only from Bromley, South London. £500. No offers. Welcome to try with no obligation. Thanks for viewing.

Help. I have a Planet Waves tuner that the manual quotes needs an adaptor with a power rating of 9V, 300mA. Working through the garage I've found 2 old BT adaptors, one 15V 200mA, the other 15V 600mA. Will one of these be safe to use with the tuner or could I be doing some serious damage ? Thanks all.

Sorry all, changed the heading on this from 4U to 3U. It came with an amp I bought a couple of years back but never used it, just presumed it was 4U as similar height. Will take 3U with about 1 inch to spare. There are no holes as the screws are tightened to nuts within a sliding rail, similar to the Warwick Rockcase type.
Think this has replaced the Superfly 500 and 1000 mate.
This is what I was thinking. The Superfly 1000 is still going for around £500 but once these start to sell the price should fall sharply as with the 500. Plus you get the compressor and presets with the Superfly.
Its only £325!! And thats the 1000w head. Not bad value IMO.
I wonder how long before the Superfly 1000 will come down to that price ? Would be worth waiting for maybe.
Oooh, now I wouldn't mind playing at the Dorchester - how was parking? Whats the clause in your contract for food? I've been trying to get us included having food to the same standard as the guests but our percussionist "manager" reckons it will make us too expensive. Sounds like a fun gig though, have you got a link to your band's website? We had parking problems at the Landmark because most of the spaces were for residents only and there was an obvious over provision for them. I ended up parking around the back of the hotel on a single yellow line in Boston Place. At least the load in was easy.
West End parking is not usually a problem for us as we don't carry our own gear apart from instruments as our events company set up our backline for us. This means the band don't usually need to arrive till parking restrictions are lifted and a short walk is not an issue with very little gear to carry. We are linked to one agency with no dedicated band website at this time. The agency request hot food and drinks on our behalf and thats written into all contracts for us. Having played with a number of other function band I understand the issue with requesting food, although if your self contained and maybe you need to be at a venue lets say 4pm and maybe not leave till 8 or 9 hours later its not an unreasonable request. Some hotels really take tie p*** though. The Grove near Watford recently charged a client £75 per each member of the band and crew for supplying us with a basic hot meal and soft drinks.

CK... We're at the Landmark next Friday. Not sure of the event as yet. Did a celeb Charity/Fund Raising one at The Dorchester last night. Really easy enjoyable gig. As per usual good food laid on as per contract. 1st set 15 minutes followed by a couple of cabaret acts. Cast of We Will Rock You turned up straight from the show and did a 20 minute spot and we finished off. This was a re-booking so hopefully will get it again next year.

Hi All, I've had this one for about 3 months so possibly the one your thinking of. I understand from GB that at least 2 very similar spec left handers have been made in black with that pickguard and the maple board. I used it throughout most of my December gigs and sounded excellent but started using my SEi again beginning January so it's only come out the case in the last 6 weeks to have pictures taken. The main reason I'm looking for a sale so soon after purchase is that I've decided to order a new Bassix EUB asap, so something must go soon (should never have sold the NS). As per usual I'm open to reasonable offers.

OOPS... How do I delete this.
