  1. Carillon bells are always fine tuned, as they are intended to play music, which is absolutely not the case with church bells as they are only intended to announce hours, events and ceremonies... So no need to be tuned to make noise.
  2. Hi Christian, I've just sent you the pro forma invoice, the PayPal proof of payment and a copy of the original advert. All these documents are in pdf format and signed. I've always used these documents alongside a CN23 (or CN22 according to the weight) for all the items I've sold outside the EEC and they have always been received as official and legal ones. And I've sent hundreds of items outside EEC over the years without a single issue using the same pattern.
  3. For the tinnitus, I use gingko biloba (bud therapy) and osteopathy for the cervical vertebrae as regular treatment. When the pollen strikes in, I use plantain weed pills. I limit my amount of coffee (tea is the same) cups up to 6 a day (and it's good for your liver too up to that amount). Plus a healthy way of life and eating, simply moving (no heavy sport that are body destroyers) without going beyond your physical capabilities.
  4. Also remember that tinnitus is also linked to high pollen in the air and the inherent allergy, so during these periods you can use antihistamines and if you want to use a natural one, use plantain weed. You might think I'm an organic nerd, but I'm not at all. The fact is I'm coming from the chemical medical domain and noticed that for long term treatments, the chemical medication has more side effects than primary effect(s), so I started looking for other solutions and the herbal medicine being the base of ... medicine has very little side effects or even none, hence studying this branch (also the bud therapy) and finding the right treatment associated with an healthy life and osteopathy and/or physiotherapy. I also use these treatments for myself suffering from tinnitus, Méniere disease and fibromyalgia, plus a totally broken back with well blocked cervical vertebrae... But strangely still having an excellent hearing (yearly test), certainly thanks to my curing approach. I only want to help, nothing else, like everyone here.
  5. Love the carillon cover : excellent. The harp one shows that Lemmy was a real good songwriter and it's an interesting cover too. The Compressorhead cover is so bland and emotionless...
  6. Will do it at the soonest. Please get in touch through private mail. 😉
  7. It's missing at least 46378 strings, what would you do with it, Russ ?
  8. I would go for a natural finish or a very light honey one which fits alder very nicely.
  9. Hi Christian, If it's for the bass I sold you, I can send you an invoice from private seller to private buyer with a copy of the proof of payment. This way you'll have the proof it was yours before all this bullsh*t happened.
  10. You can use black currant and ginkgo biloba to really lower the tinnitus effect. Black currant is a natural antiinflammatory and ginkgo biloba is a natural blood fluidifiant, so both are excellent against tinnitus. Gemmo (bud) therapy is really effective and easy to use.
  11. Is there a way to have a supporting membership with ads ? Just asking for the friend of @Stingray5...
  12. Intermittent ringing is already tinnitus... As everyone said, you now need to protect carefully your hearing in all situations including your noisy work. Go to a specialist and get some professional earplugs made to measure : it's maybe expensive, but you can seriously slow down the tinnitus. Another thing you need to know is that tinnitus is also linked to cervical vertebrae crispation, so go to a qualified osteopath to release these tensions. It will help a lot, but you'll have to live with. And run away from sub basses heavy sounds.

Maybe worth giving a try to the Sandberg Super Light series at around 3 kilos for a 4 strings bass. Or if you like the shape, the BassLab basses are in the same weight bracket. The Ibanez AFR (Affirma) series (original and reissue) are also around 3 kilos. The Leduc U-Basse fully passive is even lower at less than 3 kilos.
  14. Ammonia has the same aging effect on wood without using steel wool. 😉
  15. One of the best bass combos around ! Why are you in Brexitland ? 🤦‍♂️

A friend of mine had a glorious heavy ash period late 70's Fender Jazz Bass weighting 7.5 kilos (16.53 lbs). I weighted it, because I couldn't believe a four strings bass could be that heavy. Delirious. 🤦‍♂️

Over 4 kilos for me is too much even sitting, if you speak modern language and measures, or 8.82 lbs in prehistorical money. 😎
  18. Yes, the 2 band EQ is only active in, urm, urm, active mode. It's an overall output gain adjustor.
  19. The stacked knob is a 2 band EQ with bass on the lower pot and treble on the upper one. There's also an internal gain trimmer pot that should be near the battery.
  20. C*nts n' Noises strikes back. As useless as usual. They can name the forthcoming album : We can't compose songs. 🤑 🤑 🤑
