  1. Jannick Top and Philippe Bussonnet, both former Magma bassists are always tuned in fifth, or cello tuning if you prefer, to have an extended tessitura. Jannick Top (73 years old) started tuning his bass like that mainly because he is a classic cellist (and pianist). Philippe Bussonnet (54 years old) adopted the fifth tuning because of Jannick Top.
  2. You took it for yourself, when you were not pointed.
  3. By the way, I'm not rude, but straight or direct. I guess that you're not of the snowflake generation, otherwise we'll be in trouble indeed.
  4. Indeed, it's thousands of Fender's, if not millions... 🤣
  5. I've seen hundreds of vintage Fender's with bad grounding because of a rusted washer on the output jack... Sometimes, you can simply say : You are right, I didn't think about this. There's no shame.
  6. I often play in this "classical" position too, so you have to think twice (or even more ) about the output jack placement ... to be ergonomic.
  7. Never had a car that doesn't start because of this stupid chassis grounding only that has rusted or got loose ? Now you have a non anecdotal explanation and you know why modern cars have multiple chassis groundings.
  8. Try a fifth tuning : C G D A E, it's really interesting.
  9. Potable water as those stupid desert islands never have some. THAT is a luxury item for the next generations too, for sure.
  10. Playback is not their thing for sure. 🤣 I love the wine bottle fiddling by a ... wine seller : excellent way to loop a loop. Loved the Stranglers until Hugh Cornwell departure. That said, Muse (that I don't like at all because they have just copy-paste Ultravox! and never cited them as an "influence") have taken the playback joke a step ahead with great fun up to the interview...
  11. There's a little glitch in this proud announcement : none of these countries is a member of the EEC... Nice try !
  12. Better open it and take a look inside yourself...
  13. Because the fret press caul was damaged ? 😎
  14. @fleabag My question was in response to this kind of radical sentence. ∆∆∆
  15. No need for a step down converter as it's a multitap power transformer inside. A qualified tech will make the adaptation in 2 minutes (it's only a soldering affair).
  16. Hi Vin, The output power and consumption power are two different things. You need to use the consumption power which will be lower. 😉
  17. Less than 60mA of consumption, must be a digital one.
