  1. Was about to answer that I also found a 1003 mm interior length. That said, it's a very good quality gig bag. A friend of mine uses a bass model for his Fodera, and has never had a single problem and he travels a lot...
  2. I'm trying the best I can, but I really don't understand what you're saying as it's the opposite of my point of view, but is exactly yours, or maybe you're a songwriter or a poet?
  3. Bingo! My Leduc HMP 624 has 104x32 cm overall dimensions, so it fits in a Mono Stleath or Sleeve gig bag according to their internal dimensions at 106.7x38.1 cm. The Mono Vertigo would even be better at 105.4x36.8 cm, but then better check if your headless Leduc is not a bit longer than mine.
  4. Leduc headless basses don't fit into guitar bags, it's missing someting like an inch in the length. The Ritter guitar models don't fit. Check the Mono guitar models, I have a hint they might do the job.
  5. Adjusting dual truss rods is quite easy, first set the treble side to be almost flat and then adjust the bass side to have slightly more relief. This is known as differential fingerboard levelling by Leduc or B Bow by Le Fay. Mike Tobias used the same approach for his dual truss rod basses and is also a friend and fan of Christophe Leduc work (and vice versa). PS: The two truss rods don't cross over anywhere.
  6. Or way before them, Christian Vander from Magma and the language he created called Kobaïen.
  7. You'll say again that I'm patronising @Dan Dare, but Antonio Stradivari may have bought wood from the local suppliers, BUT was building instruments using his ears to tune these woods by crafting them to get the best tone. And this makes a huge difference.
  8. Seems to be a song about a trip (and maybe a trip too) to Cuba and some wrong destinations...
  9. The problem is that I only buy CD's (I hate downloading, sorry) and it's out of stock...
  10. I had a few Kramer basses with these broken surroundings too. I think only one had intact surroundings... You can make an experiment with wasted wood and you'll see that it will break exactly there when forcing the screw. 😉

  12. By the way, your album Grains of Sand with Michael Manring is really good. 😉
  13. The P in the name stand for ... piezo and the radius is a 1000mm one, so quite flat. 😉
  14. Following. 😊
  15. Hi Alberto, Did you check this? https://equipboard.com/pros/randy-coven On the cover of Funk me Tender (must have listened to this album hundreds of times), this looks like a Jackson with a Kahler tremolo, but I might be wrong.
  16. You are wrong concerning the fragility of these surroundings @BigRedX. 😉 If they are broken (and gone), it's because most of the people were thinking these were the height setting screws for the pickups (which are at the back of the body) and while forcing them, they broke these surroundings...
  17. Did you try EuroSender, Chris? Unless they stopped doing this from the U.K. since the official Brexit... To ship outside EEC, I use TNT Express or UPS, so it should work the other way round...
  18. Following to wherever it's going.
  19. Too bad David Bowie is dead, it could have been the follow up of Space Oddity. Just replace James Diddle by Major Tom and there you go.
  20. Maybe worth checking the quality bass and guitar spare parts before asking: https://warmoth.com/bass-necks Or even an if not the original maker: https://www.fender.com/en-GB/parts/electric-bass-parts/necks/replacement-necks/?srule=price-low-to-high&sz=12&start=0 Or simply check the second hand market to see the real prices and targets. You'll be amazed.
  21. Lovely ! 😍
