  1. Nice beard Flavius ! 😉 Hope you're doing well. 🙂
  2. Check the OC-5 thread, no need for anything else. Plenty of sound files and comparisons with a lot of the contenders and the original Japanese (and Taiwanese too) OC-2, of course.
  3. They also make the Metropolis edition : And the Star Wars one : That's a serial tone killer thing : https://www.kemper-amps.com/profiler/overview
  4. I had the Combo 121 Lite Mk I, the Combo 121 Lite Mk II and the Super Combo K1 : all three fantastic combos with a preference for the K1 that was not as hissing as the two others when cranked up (and it can become very loud), but is heavier. I sold the 3 of them and now my back is telling me to go back to a lightweight combo... which is what the 121 Lite Mk II is. GLWYS.
  5. They are very good Harry. Wise choice.
  6. Oops, crossed messages.
  7. @Phil Starr Here's already an answer : On the far right of the sheet, it is mentioned if there's a "tweeter". And concerning the power, it's the one stated by the manufacturer...
  8. You've got electricity since today, you moaner.
  9. Don't you want to visit the deep South of Belgium ? 🙃
  10. We are looking after a gardener right now. Come whenever you want. 🤣
  11. Maybe adding the sensitivity and the frequency response could be great too. I know it's not always mentioned and it's only indicative, but it can help when comparing two identical models. Looks like GR Bass wins it in all categories... Great work. 👌
  12. The DeoxIT has a strange "side" effect : it acts better after a few hours or on the next day with very recalcitrant pots... That's also the reason I'm using it : I prefer a slow and long acting cleaner to something that evaporates instantly without working at all.
  13. DeoxIT D5 for me too. Tried once upon recommendation a long time ago and only use it since then.
  14. I also had an old beheaded Streamer from the 80's. It had been fixed, broke again when falling from its stand, then binned... I know. 🤦‍♂️
  15. Fine, I'll be Spock then and you'll invite the Gorns aboard the USS Enterprise.
  16. If it was real punk music or grunge as they called it, he should have been sh*tting and pe*ing in the pool at the same time. As said before, the bait is still working. Child pornography : no. Typical stupid cupid American : yes. By the way, did Rolls-Royce sue Oasis for putting a white Silver Shadow in a pool ?
  17. It is the right move, Russ, but you'll get a Dual 1400 with an AeroTech 410+, not a Duel 1400 with a Carbon 410+. I hope you won't be too disappointed... 😇
  18. Hi Gareth, I've been using the exposed cores models in stainless steel and nickel. The stainless steel were very similar to the LaBella Super Steps, just a bit softer to the touch and without the extra overtones you sometimes get with the badly made exposed cores strings (too long exposed core is what is generating these overtones or extra out of tune harmonics). It's something that is happening very often with the Super Steps and even the Fodera Anthony Jackson strings !?! But the nickel exposed cores were, to me, even better on all aspects. Smoother and better sounding, more even and consistent. Both types lasted longer too with that piano like tone typical of these strings. That said, even if I live in continental Europe, they are not cheap at all. They are top notch quality and there is a price to pay for this.
