  1. So you can't read or write and you're a X star nominated 8 times ? Wow.
  2. Maintenant, reste à apprendre à parler correctement, soit français. 🤣
  3. And Wal ! How could they have not been mentioned ?
  4. I'll take the '65 Jazz for £165. 🤣
  5. Hate you Russ, and Owen too, and BassChat too ! 🤣
  6. Very very nice. I do like these Ned Steinberger headstocks too. 👍
  7. It's indeed really strange that this really great head (had 2 of them) is so much, I think I can say it, hated when the other one with the exact same power amp (only one channel and no compressor) is overloved just because it is made in the USA, overpriced and received overmarketing... Strange days as people don't buy with their own ears and own taste.
  8. Yep, peeps are f*cking bloody courteous over here, and so polite, I think I can sh*t with my d*ck. Let's meet in person : good idea, so I can slap your *ss. Oops, thought I was across the pond, sorry. Edit : Except for @Teebs of course. Up to the North, death to Mancunians. Long live Blian the gleat !
  9. Happy Birthday @Phil Starr ! 🍾🥂
  10. I see what you'd like to do, BUT (yes it's a big but) you'll have tracks without the real dynamic of a live player, so the final result will be biased. For instance the transient response and the whole dynamic details of the bass will be totally lost, because of the recording process itself even if it's in wave 24 bits at 96 kHz. This means that in the real world, the speakers may start to distort or fart way more earlier than with a bass plugged straight in and I'm not even starting the whole impedance matching problems, which can highly bias the final judgement. Tough and straight answer, I know, but it will really help you.
  11. My Le Fay Remington Steele 6 RHT CC CAP Big Block
  12. I have an answer most of you won't like. Here it is and it's a known fact : Homo sapiens seems unable to adapt to an environment and MUST adapt the environment to his liking. For once try to use the 4% of your remaining homo neanderthalensis genes and adapt yourself to this (new) environment. Told you...
  13. Don't forget to reposition the pickup accordingly to the 32 inches scale. Now you can start the making some firewood. 🤣 PS : The end of the top horn is generally an octave indicator, so aligned with the 12th fret and it's a minor adjustment. 😉 PS bis : Do you know the exact position of a Stingray pickup ?
  14. Try the old procedure : Press on/off and volume simultaneously.
  15. What's your phone @Downunderwonder ?
  16. Take the 50% refund as the covers will have many many other marks in a short time period.
  17. And CTRL + V to copy it where you want... as it's a command similar to copy-paste. On a smartphone just slide your finger from the top, the "Screenshot" option will appear. It will become a png file that you can share immediately or find in your files (search the recent ones). I looks like this or similar :
  18. @lownote12 Same for me, for now. GAS indicator is very very low. That said, I have owned so many basses and amps that I almost can say that I have tried everything and the ones I didn't try have absolutely no bass appeal. My last GAS was 2 Trace Elliot combos (BLX 130 SM and 1210 fridge) bought for very silly money and sold back immediately because there's nothing decent (to me as a fretless player) coming out of these really way too heavy boxes. That said, I keep watching the ads, but there's nothing I fancy. I have SES (Selling Everything Syndrome) now, just keeping what I like and use, but certainly not wanting to start another collection. And I'm really HAPPY !
  19. I really can't wait for the next step ! This is like reading The Green Mile again the way it was released...
  20. But having a real selling price database is better than removing the ads...
  21. @Abjatar The wooden Arpège mentioned earlier is for sale in France right now (not sure it's an original fretless though, so could be refretted) : https://www.leboncoin.fr/instruments_de_musique/1763994189.htm?ac=1839552155
  22. It's really looking very good right now ! Congratulations !
  23. Yep, exactly 1980 for the first Delta Metal fretless instrument... The very early Delta Metal fretless models were "lined".
