I made you this clear schematic to get a Ric-O-Sound for your active bass with two 9-pin jacks. You can modify it to have two mono outputs instead, I mean one output for each pickup.

Urm, urm, is it the Stop posting without reading thread ? And your description is missing the shunt connection of the mono output to work correctly...

@Andyjr1515 : You can gently heat the wires near the connectors and bent them gently at 90 degrees, this way they won't push the cover. You can also shorten them a lot. This way it will be a perfect assembly.

I'm checking the 9 pins jack with its 2 switches that will work with the Ric-O-Sound.

Here's the Blue Book official quote with the available colours, so try to figure out which colour it is if it's still the original one, but Fiesta Red or Dakota Red were not proposed...

Here is the official Fender colour chart from the 60's. You can see that according to the photos it could be Dakota Red or Fiesta Red... To me, it's Fiesta Red, because there are shades of orange in the colour, but I would need to see it in the flesh to be sure.

The colour could be a Dakota Red or a Fiesta Red, but it's really hard to figure out what colour it is based only on badly balanced photos... The rest has already been said.

Two other issues are poorly designed PWM power supplies plugged to the same ... (multi)plug and LED lights in the room. LED lights mains pollution is just awesome, people don't believe it until they come across a problem like yours...

I had a red one bought brand new as a demo bass in a shop in Trier. I was my office bass back in the day. Good bass, but poor pickup. @Happy Jack still owns one.

It's already written everywhere here : my Leduc basses and my Ibanez AFR A104F are keepers simply because these are, to me, the best basses ever on all points, but especially on sound, craftsmanship and ergonomics. Check my endless gear list here if you have time to loose :

The Warwick Red-Labels are, to me, a huge waist of money. You really get what you pay for, so nothing good. Just buy the usual suspects, called D'addario nickel (EXL) or steel (EPS) : no surprise here, just excellent strings (but not my favourite ones) for a very decent amount of money (between £25 and £29).
