  1. I've ordered, this Monday, some La Bella White Nylon's through Amazon.fr from Amazon EU (not a third party seller) using the Prime system as I'm in since the beginning. They were supposed to be delivered on the next day before I hit the buy button, then on the Wednesday when officially bought and today I had a message saying that I will get them next Tuesday and they are coming from ... the U.K. I'll refuse the parcel if there's any additional fee. This world is becoming more stupid every day. 🤦‍♂️
  2. I've owned at least 11 real Fender Precision Basses... Don't think it's a small number.
  3. Thanks @Stingray5 it reminded me that I also owned an Eko BA4...
  4. Here is the official Fender Custom Colo(u)r Chart : Original Olympic White looks very white as there is a blue undercoat, which is a well-known trick to make white looks whiter. This blue dye trick is also used in xerox paper, cloth, washing powder, laundry detergent, photographic paper, ... When agic, all (nitro)cellulosic paints tend to become creamier, which is especially the case with the Olympic White. Modern Olympic White is a recreation of this aging process, so absolutely not a reference.
  5. Being a massive fan of Jonas Hellborg : yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss ! 😊
  6. Ikea Kläppe office chair for me. It has moving armrests that you can put on the sides. It was a gift from my wife something like 15 years ago. Perfect for the office work and when I want to noodle around, I just move the armrests and then I can slaughter any tune. 😁 But I think it is (or was) way more than your budget.
  7. Seen him twice, always fantastic !
  8. I'm glad they didn't make it in Mocha Brown.

  11. This time if it falls off the bench, better not leave your foot under as Iroko is damn heavy. And no neck diving this time ... guaranteed.
  12. To answer your question @mhoss32 I've only played the old Alembic's with the Q switch. That said the continuously variable Q is certainly working even better... And most of the Alembic's are clear sounding because they are using single coil pickups with a dummy coil (like my favourite basses which are the Leduc's) to cancel almost any unwanted parasite noise. The single coil pickups also have to advantage of sensing the string at only one point avoiding the typical (light) phase cancellation of humbuckers and their tendency to be muddy (stacked humbucker is another story).
  13. I love Atlansia basses, but these Oxford are certainly at least ... ugly. Thanks for the reminder. 🤮
  14. Percy Jones played an EDA which was Ibanez next move on the AFR design made with composite material instead of wood. He also had a piezo only custom version of an EDA made with wood and not composite. He certainly played an original defretted AFR too... but that doesn't seem to be him...
  15. Thanks for the feedback and I hope you'll love this "new" bass that you bought back.
  16. Fantastic head ! Had one that I sold. Should have kept it, but you know the song... GLWYS.
  17. I know, but it's a two way relationship and your title isn't clear. That said, it will be interesting to know the real costs for incoming items too, don't you think ? 😉
