  1. Maybe it's because of the carbon footprint.
  2. This is an excellent semi-rigid case for a small price : https://www.dv247.com/en_GB/GBP/Fame-Soft-Case-Electric-Bass-/art-BAS0008530-000 Or even cheaper, but as good, this semi-rigid gig bag is excellent too : https://www.dv247.com/en_GB/GBP/Fame-Gigbag-Electric-Bass-Modern-Deluxe/art-BAS0009376-000 Semi-rigid protection is, to me, better than a hard case that will amplify shocks when the first will absorb them.
  3. Alain Caron has used the Leduc MIDI bass and has helped Christophe to finalise the first U-Basse. And he still owns one Leduc bass.
  4. Just click on it.
  5. Looks like overdried glue, if so, it's fixable, no worries.
  6. Auralex Acoustics is the leader for such isolators. I use a Gramma myself home as it's a very old house with wooden floors everywhere and it helps to minimise sound transmission. That said, the Harley Benton is way cheaper and certainly almost as efficient as the Auralex Acoustics.
  7. More to come, stay tuned.
  8. Show your Leduc's and be proud of it ! I'll start with this batch of 4 Mastepiece's taken right now, from top to bottom : Masterpiece MP 628 SF, Masterpiece MP 524, Masterpiece MP 524, Masterpiece HMP 624.
  9. I've just copyrighted this : I'm now going to sue everyone and become very rich. 😈 😈 😈 😈 😈 😈 😈 😈
  10. Hi @Alane2512, that will sound good on the EBS Taurus. 😉
  11. Beware of the green dragon.
  12. At the very optimistic price he's asking he could offer the Gator gig bag (it's not a case) and the strap...
  13. And take a full insurance, of course.
  14. Couriers specialised in antiques and wines can do a great job. Other than that, I wouldn't do it with any other courier unless I'm totally sure that the harp is perfectly packed (which is something I can do myself, but I'm not in your area at all). Anyhow, it won't be cheap.
  15. A female Dunlop Flush Mount Straplok.
  16. It is. I own one. Just ask @Stub Mandrel as he owns one too.
  17. Nobody wanted them anymore in the late 80's and 90's. I sold mine for peanuts at the time too.
  18. Exactly £13,272 GBP as the hammer fee is 26.4% including VAT. @Happy Jack, you're rich !
  19. £15,000 to £20,000 GBP or even more. It's a piece of history and the one and only owner is known, so not a fake or a rebuild or a modified one, hence it will go high, very high as it can be used to certify authenticity of other identical models.
  20. Depending on your budget and power needed there are these two Joyo amps : https://www.thomann.de/gb/joyo_ma_10b_portable_bass_amp.htm https://www.thomann.de/gb/joyo_badass.htm
  21. It's where it should be. I like to answer questions.
  22. Funny to react like this, it's not bullsh*t. U.K. is outside the EEC and you know it. Why would you expect a faster customs treatment with no duties ? They receive thousands of parcels each and every day from or to people trying to smuggle on the price, content and declared value, so THIS is what is slowing the process a lot ! Stop taking them for fools and it will be fine (no, I'm not affiliated to the customs at all, but I really hate this useless moaning) If you want your parcel faster than fast, as I wrote, use TNT Express or the likes as they have their own customs process, you'll be amazed. Or simply buy in the EEC if you live there or in the U.K. if you live there : problem solved and no useless moaning.
  23. There was a Fernandes Sustainer bass built in 1995, the ASB-100. https://reverb.com/item/29209055
