  1. Nice work. Was there a discount on screws back in the day ? 😉
  2. And you are right Tony.
  3. Glad that you bought it and that it's fully playable or even better. 👌
  4. That's what the guys dressed in white have been saying while they were trying to put me that shirt attached in the back. Never read it ? Still time, you know ! Hush, the men in white are coming back.
  5. Or on the Dance Floor, literally.
  6. I love the design and the ideas behind. I hate the look.
  7. Ask Beethoven.
  8. Did you watch it ? Have you so much time to lose ?
  9. It depends of your signal chain, if like the guy (producer) in the guitar video posted way earlier, you put loads of distortion or tons of effects, you won't hear any difference between the crappiest instrument and the best ever made. It's as simple as that. The video started well with clean sounds for both guitars that were totally different sounding and then he started adding massive distortion...
  10. Yep, in Brussels on the 27th of October 1984 when they played at Forest National for the Unforgettable Fire Tour, the nearby seismograph in Uccle recorded the event as a real seismic alert. They were playing really really really loud, way louder than any metal band that has played there before and after, as even the neighbourhood was a bit afraid of the sound waves shaking everything in their houses.
  11. Sounds really à la Foo Fighters, very well done. Maybe I'm too old, but I can't hear anything punk in there, it's more on the pop side (no offense intented as I love good pop music). That said, I understand why people like it, it's a really catchy tune. Congratulations, the plays are more than deserved. PS : Don't spend everything on ... sex and drugs and rock'n'roll attitude. 😉
  12. Bought upon my recommendation, Russ. 😉 GLWYS.
  13. Except that this is absolutely not what this thread was about, but as it's a deaf and blind people world, why not continue talking about something else.
  14. Wow, wow, wow ! Superb ! GLWYS.
  15. A friend of mine in France is selling his original very very very rare Vigier Arpège 5 series I : https://www.zikinf.com/annonces/annonce-1996126

    Sivcak

I owned and sold a Sivcak OSC II 5 strings which was an excellent lightweight bass, but it had been modified by the first owner who bought it brand new and did the mods immediately !?! I put it back to its original design by removing the pickups and preamp installed. They are really excellent basses for the money.
  17. I guess they should work for free like you certainly do for your day job...
  18. You don't need to, BassChat wouldn't be BassChat if there were no derailment. 😉
  19. I'm also an artist, I'm getting tone out of woods that aren't tonewoods, but woods producing tone when you'd expect they won't as they are tonewoods known for not producing tone, but sine waves you could see on an oscilloscope meaning that it's tone. I love being an artist.
  20. Try any nickel strings, they are way smoother than stainless steel ones. The Fodera strings are also excellent. The Alembic strings are really super smooth, but super expensive.
  21. Wow, superb build and wonderfully looking guitar (allowed by the gods), congratulations !
  22. Reverse the black and white wires on the blend as you're putting the hot output to ground the way you are wiring it. 😉 The B schematic for the blend doesn't correspond at all to the very blend you're using. The first one is the good one, but not with your red annotations that are completely wrong :
