Not at all, the guy is quite clever as the best way to sell at high prices when bids are involved is to start at the lowest price possible. I've been selling through eBay for years and always had the best results this way. Furthermore all his ads end on Sunday (local time), which is also another great way to get higher prices. 😉

If it's well done, yes. If not it can be worse than nothing. You have to link each shielded cavity to the main one, so grounding will be complete. And please do a total star grounding, otherwise it may also be useless. Also try to avoid unnecessary grounding or you may create a ground loop.
