A friend of mine had a glorious heavy ash period late 70's Fender Jazz Bass weighting 7.5 kilos (16.53 lbs). I weighted it, because I couldn't believe a four strings bass could be that heavy. Delirious. 🤦♂️

Better, one word : firewood.

Over 4 kilos for me is too much even sitting, if you speak modern language and measures, or 8.82 lbs in prehistorical money. 😎

Yes, the 2 band EQ is only active in, urm, urm, active mode. It's an overall output gain adjustor.
-
The stacked knob is a 2 band EQ with bass on the lower pot and treble on the upper one. There's also an internal gain trimmer pot that should be near the battery.

C*nts n' Noises strikes back. As useless as usual. They can name the forthcoming album : We can't compose songs. 🤑 🤑 🤑

The 26.5 inches scale is really attracting too. There's a guy in Germany selling a pair (fretted and fretless) for peanuts and I can't stop looking at the ad : https://www.bassic.de/kleinanzeigen/bargain-week-2mal-acg-micro-krell-fuer-2020-fr-fl.20733/

Don't forget the Sire Marcus Miller series : terrific basses for the money, even the new P10 or V10 that are more expensive.

It's the Bunny Brunel filiation. 😉

He is 1.93 meter tall. 😉 And Bunny Brunel has been his private teacher.
-
And it's a 34 inches scale, but a very rare instrument as it's not been officially released by Gibson. That said Kyle Eastwood that we've seen quite a lot is a tall guy. 😉

And I do check and adjust the intonation, action and neck relief (so the trussrod) after each strings change.

Here's Plek official price list in German as the English one is not up to date at all : http://plekhaus.de/preise/

Quite right @Downunderwonder. That said, I think you've never heard self-called sound engineers setting up a PA or worse todays DJ's... 😱
