I bought an original Glockenklang Bass Art preamp (first generation) from Christian. A fast, smooth and easy deal. Christian is a real pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended. Are you sure you understood what I wrote in this particular context...

And undamaged, of course.

And refund him through PayPal when you have your sax in hands and are sure it's really yours...

Bull & bollox. Lies you have been told...

We were invited to play at a folk festival. We were a prog-jazz-fusion band. I didn't understand why they were calling us for this festival, but it was well paid. We said yes. The folk guys said us after the balance : "Wow what a sound.” When we started to play, everyone left the venue, I mean we really played for the tables and chairs. Even the sound engineer left. They came back when we had finished, saying : "The sound was better outside". No kidding. And yes, we got our money... -
Sounds like the real deal. Auguri Davide.

Of course, they will. You'll have just more of all with Cubase Pro compared to AI. The interface is a bit different too.

Nice job. 🤕

It's not expensive, it's a theft ! Here is the original cork one, named Kalbass :

When I was much younger there was a cork self adhesive thumb rest... Now there's is this : https://m.thomann.de/gb/kala_u_bass_thumbrests.htm

Nice bass but the price is a bit unrealistic
Hellzero replied to TheGreek's topic in eBay - Weird and Wonderful
It does only by the truss rod cover engraved with Mark King, otherwise it's a Supernatural. This one has special inlays. But it doesn't make it worth 2000 GBP... I had this very white one : -
You are right and ... wrong. When the OP started the thread, this Ibanez range wasn't available and the EHB's were firstly advertised with much noise as fan(ned) frets basses... Even if the range also covers regular fretted basses, of course.

Another The Jack Custom V in Germany for a very slim price including a spare set of strings and a case. The guy is even looking for a trade... https://www.bassic.de/kleinanzeigen/hohner-the-jack-custom-5-saiter-headless-in-topzustand.6592/

I'm only selling this bass because I'm thinning down the herd as I've just acquired a Status S2 Classic 5 headed fretless, which suits my taste better than any fretted bass. It has a new battery and is fitted with a brand new set of D'Addario EXL170-5 nickel round wound strings (45 - 65 - 80 - 100 - 130), which fit the bass to perfection. What you see is what you get ! In fact, I didn't like the overall sound of the Quilter 800 (too mid scooped for me) and being a tech geek, I like to know what I'm really doing when turning knobs. I'm still a big fan of a, say, a 32 bands graphic or even better fully parametric EQ... That's why I prefer the 802 approach, even it's still Quilter sounding. That said, if you like the overall sound, go on, you won't be disappointed.

Affordable and rewarding bass amp for the home
Hellzero replied to Hamilton Mackenzie's topic in Amps and Cabs
At home, I play totally unplugged most of the time. And it helps a lot to hear the default in your playing too. I could play through my soundcard or my preamp through headphones, but I don't like the unnatural sound coming out of them (and they are high quality, before you ask), especially with a bass. -

Hellzero replied to Hamilton Mackenzie's topic in Amps and Cabs
It also depends if you want to buy new or used. As already said, I wouldn't go for the low end unknown combos. Depending on your style, you will maybe need some Watts under the hood even for home practice. There was an old SWR Workingmans 12 for sale here on BC. This combo coupled to the high quality Jazz Bass Lag (before Lag bankruptcy) you own is really good (excellent, in fact) and will be more than enough for rehearsals or small gigs. Sadly for you, I checked and it's gone. -
I do like the names of the frequencies as it's what they really do, plus the frequency itself is labelled below, just in case. I prefer the 802 to the 800 for the real frequencies filters instead of some useless predefined curves.

Non-smoking environment as usual. I'm only selling this bass because I'm thinning down the herd as I've just acquired an S2 headed fretless, which suits my taste better than the fretted. This bass was bought new by a friend of mine by Music Store in Köln (paid by his wife : some guys are lucky) on the 2nd of December 2000 (original invoice will be delivered) ! He then asked Christophe LEDUC to put some front dots as there are only side dots. Here is the link to the Status Graphite main specifications : http://www.status-graphite.com/status/frames/index_home.html The bass has been fully set up professionally by Christophe LEDUC. It has two new batteries and is fitted with a (now) used set of Elixir nickel plated Nanoweb coating strings (45 - 65 - 80 - 100 - 130tw), which fit the bass to perfection. The lower milky line on the headstock photo is a reflection of the case lining. Don't hesitate to ask for more.

Traded another bass with Victor. We planned to meet un Brussels, but the Corona virus stopped us to do it. So we sent basses to each other. Now I'm the proud owner of a Status S2 Classic 5 fretless bolt-on. As usual with Victor, everything was smooth, fast and easy (sounds like some Motörhead lyrics 😉 ). And another perfect deal with Victor !
