  1. Looks like they bought D'Orazio strings, exact same way to put the label with the same pattern for specifications on it. It doesn't look like they bought it, they did it. Here is the old link to D'Orazio strings, check where you get : http://shop.doraziostrings.com/collections/electric-bass
  2. GLOCKENKLANG Bass Art preamp first generation, not the Classic version. For sale only as I'm thinning down the herd (again). Asking price including shipping fully insured with tracking number to your place in these European countries (ask for other countries) : Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France (excluding French overseas departments and territories), Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom : £375 GBP !!! In fully working condition and in good overall condition. It has been fully revised by Glockenklang in 2018. No need to put the specifications as it's a well known preamp and a reference, but you can check the manual below (in German). Non-smoking environment as usual. I'm only selling it as I don't use it anymore and don't want to start a collection... What you see is what you get ! Look at the pictures taken under different angles to see the real condition : some marks and dings, the most noticeable being on the upper right rack ear (see photo number 8), hence the low price, but it's fully working. I have tested each and every function.. Don't hesitate to ask for more.

  4. Its other name is Schaller 3D-8. I had this on my Rybski 8 and you can adjust the intonation for each string separately. You can find a new one for the price of this second hand (as you'll have to add the customs fee). Check these links : https://www.emma-music.com/cordier-basse-schaller-tri-dimensionnel-5-cordes-chrome-schaller,fr,4,SCH-550154.cfm https://www.woodbrass.com/guitares-pieces-detachees-schaller-chevalets-basse-electrique-3d-8-8-cordes-noir-p239812.html
  5. So you are at least 100 years old, Douglas. 😲 What a sweet revenge... 🤣
  6. These are very well thought basses. And they do sound very well. I'm a huge fan of the Delta Metal fretless models by Vigier and owned 3 in the past that I stupidly sold, like a lot of other basses, that said...
  7. And try this bass in a jazz big band, just to see the head of the conductor. 🤣
  8. It's definitely about prostatitis if you can order beams. 🤣
  9. And now, I've just ordered this : Hope the lockdown won't last too long...
  10. This is what he was using more than 15 years ago : https://www.lightsoundjournal.com/2006/08/16/anthony-jackson-chooses-meyer-sound/ He seems to still use the Meyer Sound CQ-1 amplified box (only one nowadays) with a very expensive studio EQ/preamp/compressor that could be from API, Avalon, Millennia and the likes. His signal on stage goes through a JAM Pedals WaterFall (chorus/vibrato) and an Ernie Ball volume pedal. He is a huge fan of the Radial J48 D.I. box for stages too.
  11. Check this : https://dragonfireguitars.com/Custom-Designed-Jazz-Bass-Control-Plate-Build-Your-Own-Plate-10408.htm But they seem to deliver almost everywhere near their door. 🤣
  12. And for the price he's asking, Mick, you can get a real Alembic, and even a Series one... The real worn ones can be quite affordable.
  13. No more TLRT's, but I'm still laughing. 🤣
  14. @zomnius had a Fernandes FAB-180 he bought in France and sold here on BassChat a few years back. They were made between 1979 and 1981. For those interested, there's a FAB-170 for sale here at a very very high price tag : https://reverb.com/item/19445896-fernandes-fab-170-bass-guitar-1979
  15. Post it in the "Wanted" section of the BassChat marketplace.
  16. @Duarte : Did you download the wiring bible I talked about a bit earlier ? The Fodera Anthony Jackson has only an output jack (XLR on the new version), nothing else between it and the pickup. I had an excellent Langowski copy and always loved this simplicity. Should you be worried about problems linked to this straight signal, put a volume pedal in your path...
  17. Check this bass wiring bible for ideas. It's in German, but the drawings are in any language you want. 😉 http://www.ak-line.com/medium/Bassschaltungen.pdf
  18. That ramp on the Flea Bass looks really cool. I like it ! 👍
  19. It's the price for a single 0.065 string. 😉
  20. Thanks @AxelF, it was made in September 1987.
