  1. If your jack is loose, then it's dead, especially if it's a barrel type. Otherwise, you can tighten up the lugs by pushing them towards the center.
  2. Because it's not a Fender shape. 😉
  3. Go the shop with your complaint file, show it to them and tell them that they can't sell the bass again. You have to supply your ID when selling items to Cash Crooks and Friends. Better also ask them where is the Helix as it's surely been bought by them at the same time... If the police don't move, better go there first and ask them what they are waiting for !
  4. I'd like to see the landlord's or landlady's face when you start drilling holes everywhere at the venue. 🤣
  5. Blo*dy laundry ! 😁
  6. I'll PM you on Thursday. 🤣
  7. Let me look in my crystal ball : I can see, I can clearly see, I'm seeing D-Tuners everywhere on the headstock...
  8. They are both bass players. Funny, no ?
  9. CR-2032 is the most common one.
  10. What about a link...
  11. And like @oldslapper said, find the right location before throwing it against the wall. I'm using the sweetener tuning for bass with these Peterson tuners. Yes, the Peterson StroboStomp HD pedal is in my ... pedalboard.
  12. Nice move Jack. There's even an update for the software which changes ... absolutely nothing. 😁
  13. Wow, what an honour. I'll buy some more, then. 😁
  14. I'm in. Is there a signed photo coming with too ?
  15. The 3 best clip-on tuners are the TC Electronic UniTune, the TC Electronic PolyTune if you can find them as they seem to have disappeared from 5he shelves or the excellent Peterson StroboClip HD (if you like the strobo tuning). Don't forget to read the manual as they all have a dedicated bass mode. They will certainly look expensive, but they are simply the best ones available on the market.
  16. This a terrific sounding bass. And Chris a pleasure to deal with. GLWYS.
  17. And there are these complete pedalboards made by Boxking with a battery pack included. The small one being like the Falken I mentioned (12,8 Ah) and the big one being an amazing 25,6 Ah (you can start a car with this 😱 ) : https://www.stars-music.com/flightcase-pedalboard-for-effect-pedal/#brands=2002
  18. Almost all luthiers are doing this, but official brands do it on their unlined fretless basses. It's only on lined ones that the side dots are too often at the fretted positions.
  19. The LaBella Super Steps are not tapered cores, but exposed cores. These are my favourites : ultra precise intonation and all the harmonics. If you have a 36 inches scale bass or a 35 inches one, try the Fodera Anthony Jackson set. I costs a lot, but these are amazing strings.
  20. Glad it's not a French one...
  21. I'm using this since a few months. It has enough power for all your pedals and even more. When fully charged it lasts for at least 12 hours and up to 16 hours according to the manual. This is also very powerful with 12800 mAh or 12,8 Ah... Maybe not cheap, but with such a load of power, worth each and every penny. Here it is : https://m.thomann.de/gb/kse_falken_1.htm
  22. Or play seated.
  23. Thanks mate, been singing a bass line all over the mid tempo track, even gave me some harmonisations ideas. Now, I need to give it a try with a real bass in my hands. 😉
