  1. Ok, got it. Did you solder B2, M1, M2 and N2 to the ground ?
  2. Ok, quite easy, the output of your DPDT switch is now the output of your pickup in the 3rd MM3 diagram, the ground remaining the, urm, ground. As simple as that. And just get rid of volume 2 as you only use one pickup, if I read correctly.
  3. And the schematics for the new Kent Armstrong 2 or 3 bands preamps :
  4. Here is the complete schematics for new Kent Armstrong pickups :
  5. And here we go : These are not the most beautiful solders I've seen...
  6. @Soledad I'll make you a photo, this evening, of the back of the control plate of my Fender Jazz Bass Jaco Pastorius Relic Custom Shop, so you'll see what is inside. When I'll change the strings, I'll do the same for the pickups, but you'll have to wait a bit more. 😉
  7. A Paul Lairat Stega without imagination, and R & D : https://lairat.com/basses/basses-categorie/stega-4-cordes-luxe/ Or a the Prince touch :

  9. You are a lefty too, Russ, are you ? 🤔 🤣 Very very very nice fretless bass indeed (but I'm stuck to 34 inches scale). GLWYS.
  10. Owning one, it's wired the old way, with two SINGLE coils pickups, two volumes, a tone and a capacitor, nothing else. If you want that Jaco sound, put some CS Fender Jazz Bass SINGLE coils pickups or try the French HepCat Jazz Bass '62 SINGLE coils pickups, which are terrific : http://hepcatpickups.com/produit/jazz-bass-62/. And don't forget this dirty cheap little preamp pedal to get that Acoustic 360 +361 tone : http://www.one-control.com/blue-360-bass-preamp.html You can find it here : https://www.thomann.de/gb/one_control_blue_360_bass_preamp.htm You can even add the Rotosound RS66LD strings to be complete without forgetting the epoxy treated fingerboard. By the way, SINGLE coils are not noisy when you have a real shielding done and are the only pickups that will give that mid growl and mwah by simply cutting the tone, using the bridge pickup and boosting the mids on your amp. An 18 inches speaker, yes 18", helps a lot too, just like a thick Brazilian rosewood fingerboard... Good luck with your quest. 😉
  11. The bridge is indeed the 3D Kahler. 😉 Nice floor, isn't it ? 🤣
  12. Try double bass with action at 2 centimetres at the octave and an old Schaller pickup at the end of the fingerboard. You'll get the bass you want and you'll be digging like a mad man. Seriously, put some heavier gauge strings on your P-Bass, raise the action to 3 millimeters under the E string at the octave, have your neck relief correctly adjusted and lower your pickup. Then you'll be called the undertaker !
  13. The price is good as well as the condition and nice colour, but who cares if Jermaine has been playing it ? Furthermore there is no photo nor evidence of this fact. Ah, eBay fools paradise... One of these days, I'll sell my fingers as I've played Alain Caron, Marcus Miller, Michel Hatzigeorgiou (and many others) basses and also lent (for free) my Gibson ES-175 jazz guitar for a concert to the late great Toots Thielemans. 😁
  14. Buy a Chapman stick. 😉 I quite like the idea, but prefer the first version as it's anti-stick, if you know what I mean.
  15. That will be seven strings : he'll be lost as he is accustomed to widening not narrowing the strings spacing. 🤔 😁
  16. Better written this way : Non, c'est un piège à rats au gruyère. 😁 I'm the French grammar nazi. 😎
