  1. The funny thing is that it looks as ugly as the Overwater Original series basses or guitars (look at the guitar below), even the headstock. It might be worth asking Chris May, as it's maybe a lost prototype...
  2. I don't think so Harry, more 19 millions kilos. 😁
  3. You can deal with Jens in total confidence and, yes, this used to be one of my former bass. Jens made a copy /paste of my old ad.
  4. Antoine, the strings spacing on a Modulus sixer is and has always been 17 mm. Specifications Model # Type Nut @24 fret String Spacing Q4 4-string 1.60” 2.40” 19mm Q5 5-string 1.85” 2.75” 17mm QW5-19 5-string wide 1.90” 3.00” 19mm QW5-21 5-string wide 2.00” 3.25” 21.5mm Q6 6-string 2.00” 3.25” 17mm
  5. It's in French as the company is a French one : http://www.zampower.com
  6. Hi Tony, Here I am. I know a bit Antoine and the mad story behind this fretless... Wait and see. 😉
  7. Russ, have you become so avarious. Don't listen to him Flavius, I'm generous and offering you €911 and that's my flat offer (hope somebody will understand it).
  8. Very nice soundclips. And the price is ridiculous for a full options Modulus Quantum 6 (and full Bartolini) with its papers and original molded Modulus embossed hard case. What are you waiting for ? A few days to be sure to pay it 30% more if shipped in the UK !?! 🤔 Rollo is highly trustable, his parcels are bomb proof and he's someone easy to deal with : It would like buying the bass frome me. Go on guys, you won't be disappointed.
  9. @yorks5stringer : clearly as he didn't understood what I was claiming for which is the granted total access to all SBL content that was stated when I subscribed. He just changed the rules without notice. That's my complaint, but it seems nobody can read. I'm proud of what he did, never begrudged him for earning money with that and certainly NEVER criticised his marriage. Again, it's a question of interpretation and I was only giving facts. I once started a thread called "Stop posting without reading", all I can see is that nothing has changed. In fact, my complaint made him even more publicity and that's a good thing as he's got the balls to do it (his way). So hats off @devinebass as he deserves it for what he's done for the bass community. These will be my last words here.
  10. Because I really know the value of money.
  11. As a subscriber, I was supposed to have access to all SBL content : THAT is the problem, because since a few months Scott started extra paying lessons, courses, masterclasses, ... even for regular members. As I wrote, I don't give a sh*t about money and hate it : my wife owns everything including the house and I'm paying for all. But if I pay for something, I want to have it (for my wife or sometimes myself) : is it so hard to understand ? I know Scott isn't insane and that he loves his wife too (the 50% share is a proof), but he's making promises to the subscribers he doesn't keep. That's what's been hurting me.
  12. My title is a tribute to Scott's ones. Attracting like what I used to learn as a free journalist many many many many many many many many moons ago : the title must push the reader to go further. Job done. Now, I can go back to 😴
  13. By the way Scott, you can buy my Tune BEB-6, it has 2 preamps, 6 strings, 36 inches scale and have a passive mode. So you could change your mind as much as you can.
  14. Practice is the key to the muscles memory, and here we are talking fretless instruments which require years of practice for the played note to be perfect. Ask a classical violin, cello, double bass, aso, player how many years it took them to play perfectly in tune all over their fretboard... Last year my wife and I saw and heard the great cellist Jean-Guihen Queyras playing many notes out of tune during a quartet concert where he played a solo piece. He noticed it, but kept on playing and went away very soon after this part. The funniest thing is that people at the venue applauded massively proving that they have no ears at all, but where there because it was the place to be that evening. Scary.
  15. You won't like the answer : 10 years of practice at least 8 hours a day or perfect pitch. No other solution.
  16. Yes, marriage contract with separation of property to protect her as she owns everything. I don't give a sh*t about money and hate it. Call it love or stupidity, it's up to you.
  17. I'm not casting doubt on his marriage at all, it's a simple fact : if it goes wrong with his wife (which I'm absolutely not wanting), he could loose more than his spouse. Simple fact, nothing else. That also means that he really loves his wife and is totally trusting her, which is very rare by people loving money so much. A true financier would have taken 51% of the shares. And if you want to know, I know my wife for more than 30 years and we are living together for 15 years with love getting stronger every day : a rare total fusion, as she is the one for me and I'm the one for her.
  18. Thanks a lot for this @Machines. Scott is making a lot of money and a huge mistake : he is only owning 50 % of the shares, so can be discarded and loose everything quite easily. Hope everyting is well with Lisa.
