Go see a lawyer and contact the press : they hate this kind of free advertising. -
Got Marco's Mayones Comodous Custom 5 and everything was fine. The bass is new, just as described, Marco is a great guy and we had a warm welcome. I also had the opportunity to give a try to his home made basses, which are very good. You can deal with Marco in total confidence. Zorba says hello to Milo. 😉

Been to Marco's place yesterday. A very nice chap to talk to. We also had a very warm welcome. I tried all his basses and, even if there are some slight adjustments to be done, Marco has real skill for building basses with almost nothing. And even if he is saying the opposite, he is a good player too. His basses are not raw instruments, but very well done ones and sound very good in passive mode as it's his way of imagining a bass. The 36 inches fretless bass has a really nice tone, but I can't play 36 inches scale anymore for medical reasons. I guess it will be the Infinga 4 that will be touring.

Playing bass for more than 30 years, mainly 6 strings fretless basses, I've tried almost every strings available on the market, including exposed core and taper core ones, and always came back to the D'Addario XL Nickel Round Wound (EXL170 4 to 6 in my case). I also was a great fan of the Flex Steels, but they disappeared. I've now restrung all my basses with these EXL170 (4 to 6) and must admit it's the best tone I can get. I was about to put NYXL32130 on my main fretless bass (Leduc Masterpiece MP 628 SF), but was not sure I had to do it because I really love the EXL170-6 tone and feel. But the NYXL32130 will be perfect for my Leduc PAD 6 (all padauk 6 strings fretted bass) as they will highlight the ultra fast response and punch of that wood. Can't wait to try them. -

@Grangur : I always put tape over the bar-code and just like you said at least one more printed label on the parcel and one inside. Plus, most of the time I put tape all over the parcel, in case they leave it in a puddle of water or outside when heavy raining. Having worked as a logistics clerk for the Belgian railway parcels facility, I can tell you that people working at the depot absolutely don't give a sh*t about your parcels, especially when labelled "Fragile". They always throw them, play football with them and if they land in the wrong rack, your parcel will stay there. It's a real pity working with such persons. And they have no excuses for this behaviour, they are just stupid. Sorry to be harsh, but that's the plain truth. So knowing that, I take the greatest care when making parcels, even taking pictures during the process and ALWAYS take the extra insurance, because I know it will absolutely not be handled with care. -
Sold some pickups and preamp to Johann. Everything was fast, smooth and easy. Would do business again with him. Cheers mate.

Le Foyer that the post of Luxembourg is using is a third party insurance company, so problems (when there are some) are solved very quickly. -

Indeed, but Parcel Force CEO refused to pay more than the "legal" £100, so as the seller, I managed to get a full refund by my courier and its insurance company. -

It also happened with the same company for a stolen in the van two parts rare hi-fi amplifier. So it's not a rare occurence : Le Foyer is a real good insurance company caring for their customers, that's as simple as that. And I only had this two issues in a bit more than 30 years of buying and selling lots and loads of items (more than 2000 items over the years). -
Typical earthing issue, and as @discreet mentioned it, it CAN kill. Pub and venue owners don't give a sh*t about their electrical installation, so checking the earth before even plugging in is a good idea.

Totally agree with you, except about insurance, but I guess it depends on where you are located. As I already wrote, I always take the extra insurance and when I need to insurance up to 4300 Euros, I use the post of Luxembourg and never had any issue when it comes to make it work : ask @binky_bass as he got a full refund when my very rare Aries arrived to him in pieces (in my bomb proof package, but not plane height proof sadly), even if ParfelForce who was the culprit was in a total deny process. Read the thread about it or my feedback. So insurances do work, but you have to choose the right one, and that's the biggest part of the problem. So now back to @Dood : do you have any news ? -
