These 2 in the ads are good choices, the Yamaha TRB-5P being certainly the best PJ fiver around, no kidding and the Pitza Kustom started as an Ibanez, but with a strings spacing going from 16.5 to 19 mm so ideally for banana fingers if you opt for the latter and the sum of the parts is way more than the asking price... So you have an "high" and "low" price tag as you didn't mention the price.
-
If your fingers are bananas, forget the Ibanez range. Try the MTD Kingston series, affordable and excellent basses for soloing or even accompanying even if they have a 35 inches scale. Check the ads here as you might find your Graal quite easily with other brands.

Refresh (recharge) the solders on the pickups side first as they could have become dry over the years. If it's still not working and you're not reading any resistance (somewhere between 6 and 8 kOhms), then they are dead and should be rewired or replaced...

Due to severe back problems (67% officially disabled because of it) plus right shoulder injury (non-operable capsulitis from which, after more than 3 years, I will never fully recover), I'm selling everything that is too heavy. I've also considerably lowered the price for a quick sale. AER BassCube Version 1, original Ferrari Red, aka Bade Cube, with cover! POSSIBLE TRADES, BUT KEEP IN MIND THE NEW PRICE, WHICH IS AROUND 3500 EUROS! NON NEGOTIABLE PRICE! Asking price including shipping fully insured with tracking number to your place in these European countries (ask for other countries) : Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France (excluding French overseas departments and territories), Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden : €800 Euros (£700 GBP is an approximation and I will only accept payment in Euros) !!! New price is around €3500 Euros, if you can find one... !!! Shipping to United Kingdom is, of course, possible, but with an extra customs fee (VAT + other taxes + courier fee), because U.K. is now outside EEC. The combo has been fully serviced and upgraded at AER Germany in May 2021 (invoice will be delivered). What you see is what you get! Look at the photos taken under different angles to see the real condition, the knocks and the scratches. As @jazzyvee mentioned earlier, but it wasn't really noticed: 25 basses including 11 Alembic basses were stolen a few days ago from Station Music, Germany! The total amount is around 275,000 euros. The list of stolen Alembic basses is on the Alembic forum website, with some pictures, but just go to the Station Music website to see these stolen basses: https://www.station-musicshop.de/epages/64398533.mobile/en_GB/?ViewAction=View&ObjectID=48919944&PageSize=5 The link with serial numbers: https://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=27500.msg279412#msg279412

I really love this bass, being a fretless player I like the idea of the "stereo" output and the ability to tailor the sound with it. Congratulations! And the bass looks beautiful! 😍

Here is the link to the user manual explaining the ROM system: http://www.vigierguitars.net/bmanuals/bv4m.htm#ELECTRONIC That said @itu as the neck is a 90/10 type (90% wood, 10% carbon), then it's more probably the one made on November the 15th of 1986. 😉 Superb looking model @KUSKU and my favourite transparent colour too, would be a perfect companion to my Leduc MP 628 SF...

Wow (too)! 👏 -
Excellent work! Congratulations! Following with interest!

Yes, @Rich it's indeed a built-in tuner, and if you go down the page in the link below, you'll see that the option is still available, but David King has stopped his activities for the moment... : https://www.kingbass.com/info.html

Nice 400 years old wooden floor on the last photo, @Rollo. 🤔😂
-
Hi Ben, just look here for headless designed basses as he is still using this design today : Another headless specialist is David King as he only builds headless basses : https://www.kingbass.com/
-
It's kind of obvious that he simply is a retailer for this unknown brand, which is quite common and not suspicious at all. 😉
-
Time to learn to read, Mick... The bass was made in Italy, but the seller is in ... London, U.K. 🤦🏻♂️
-
And I had the opportunity to play a BassLab fretless sixer in the early 2000's as Music Store in Köln was an official retailer. It's a bit strange at first, but then you understand the ideas behind the conception quite quickly. It sounded huge with some kind of inherent reverb, but was way out of my league money wise...

Roland started the G-707 (synth guitar) in 1983 and the G-77 (synth bass) in 1984, both with the Stabilisation Arm aka Bow. Jerry Auerswald only started building instruments a decade later. So definitely Roland, @itu. 😉

The Basslab preamps have always been made by Andreas Richter, just like the StepAbout (I owned one and it's a very versatile dual preamp, and expensive). There's a collaboration between the two since the beginning. That said Richter preamps are simply, to date, the most transparent preamp you can find. You can find Richter products here (only official retailer for Europe) : https://www.bassparts.de/epages/61038859.mobile/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/61038859/Categories/Richter-Elektroniken
