Running in the Family: 1987! Come Back and Stay: 1983! When the Going Gets Tough: 1986! Two Tribes: 1984! I was a DJ for a radio broadcasting show back then, so all these tubes are very familiar to me, just like the year they were released.

Tuners are great rattling devices.

Same for me, 3 meters for home use is quite obvious. Angled for side mounted jack, otherwise straight ones all the time.

Sterling by Music Man… Joe Dart model by stealth?

GR Bass AeroTech Full Carbon Cube Acoustic Combo 800 (latest version), purchased new by myself on April 28, 2024 so more than 4 years of warranty left as I registered it. I comes with a Glockenklang power lead, the original GR Bass cover and the original GR Bass Dual Board (with its dedicated cable) to switch, add or mute the two channels (and even power a pedal as there is a 9 Volts out). This combo can be used with acoustic or electric instruments and works terrific with both, mixed or not. Carbon is very difficult to photograph and there are a lot of reflections.. The condition is as new with some minor surface scratches on the aluminium (what you see on the bottom side is the blue protective sticker) and on the carbon. The actual weight of this combo is exactly 9.610 kilos, certainly the lightest 1x12 inches combo on the market. I'm selling it because I don't need a twin channel combo anymore (I sold the bass it was meant to be used with). NO TRADES! NON NEGOTIABLE PRICE! Asking price including fully insured shipping with tracking number, to your home, in these European countries (ask for other countries): Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France (excluding DOM -TOM), Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom: €1200 (£1000 GBP is an approximation and I will only accept payment in Euros)!!! Shipping to the UK is of course possible and included in my asking price, but with additional customs charges (VAT + other taxes + courier costs), as the UK is now outside the EEC. Here are the specifications taken from the GR Bass website: Power Power head: 800W RMS (AES Standard) - Power cabinet: 450W RMS (AES Standard) Weight 9.2 Kg - 20.3 lbs (exactly 9.6 kg - 21.2 lbs) Bass reflex On rear Sensitivity 99 dB SPL Speaker 1 x 12" 8 ohm custom Jensen/Sica woofer Tweeter Horn Driver 1" Frequency response 35 Hz to 22 kHz Front panel - INPUT XLR/JACK (Ch1, Ch2) - 48V Phantom Power (Ch1, Ch2) - PHASE (Ch1, Ch2) - PIEZO (Ch1, Ch2) - GAIN CONTROL KNOB (Ch1, Ch2) - BASS KNOB (Ch1, Ch2) - MID-LOW KNOB (Ch1, Ch2) - MID-HIGH KNOB (Ch1, Ch2) - HIGH KNOB (Ch1, Ch2) - DEEP BUTTON (Ch1, Ch2) - BRIGHT BUTTON (Ch1, Ch2) - PURE SWITCH (Ch1, Ch2) - DI VOLUME CONTROL KNOB (Ch1, Ch2) - NOTCH FILTER BUTTON - FREQ NOTCH KNOB - COMPRESSOR KNOB - RATIO SELECTOR - MASTER KNOB (Ch1, Ch2) - OPERATION LED (Ch1, Ch2) - MUTE BUTTON - CHANNEL SELECTOR - POWER ON/OFF SWITCH Rear panel - AC POWER SOCKET (230V - 115V) - SEND - RETURN - D.I. OUTPUT (Ch1/Ch2) - GND LIFT BUTTON - PRE-POST DI BUTTON - SPEAKON OUTPUT - ETHERNET PORT - LINE OUT DUAL / LINE OUT MIX Dimension W40 x D40 x H45,5 cm W15,75 x D15,75 x H17,91 inch Will be delivered in its original packaging. Non-smoking environment as usual. What you see is what you get! Look carefully at the photos taken from different angles and lights to see the real condition, which is as new, with some minor surface scratches on the aluminium (what you see on the bottom side is the blue protective sticker) and on the carbon. I've also considerably lowered the price for a quick sale. Do not hesitate to ask for more information.

You can also add the single I second that Emotion remixed by Giorgio Moroder that same year, but none of these are from 1982. There are tons of remixes of everything, probably one for each year, but don't get mismatched...
-
From ... 1980, not 1982. Nothing from The Talking Heads in 1982.
-
I'm a huge fan of Mick Karn, but, hélas, Japan didn't release anything in 1982 as it was the beginning of the end, Quiet Life was released in 1979... She's in Parties as good as it is was released in 1983. 😉😉😉😉

Ever get that "Didn't realise how lucky I was" moment.....?
Hellzero replied to Beedster's topic in General Discussion
I need to reload all the photos with a way smaller size as they ended up eating 50% of my allowed space here... But it will be a big time consuming job. -
What happened is simply the truss rod that went through and some stupid attempt to fix the issue.

Probably the first time a Boss OC-2 Octaver was recorded, a fun bass line to play:
-
And then something really different from the rest:
-
This is a really good bass line too:
-
Was it good for metal, yes it was:
-
Indeep, and this bass line:
-
Yep, this was also released in 1982:
-
And this gem:
-
All the album here:
-
Ok, if you want to stick to 1982, this is certainly one of the iconic bass line of that year:
-
And the rest of the album.
-
Nope and nope if you want to make it for peanuts, otherwise it's always fixable at great expense.

So, it will be a fretless or am I wrong?
