I had an original one in the 90's, but never found the chorus that terrific for bass, but the flanger was indeed great. Now I have the JAM pedals Waterfall (Bass edition) which is just what I need as a chorus and a great vibrato too.

Anything by Uzeb or EST, but these are bands where the bass (Alain Caron) or double bass (Dan Berglund) is totally integrated in the composition process. Nope, it's simply useless and adding unnecessary noise to the overall signal chain. All you need is a gain control and a master volume with the EQ just after the gain and the effect loop just before the master volume, or none of those for a purer signal.

Don't wait for an Indonesian one, buy a Chinese one, it's even cheaper.

I always read everything. This is exactly where a master volume is placed and you already have one... This trick is used on amps without a master volume to be able to use them at manageable volumes. On old tubes (valves) amps, it is very usual to add this master volume for this exact purpose. Don't forget that if it's badly made, you'll get a lot more noise too. And I would add that the Orange Bass Terror is badly designed if the master volume is useless at low to very low volume as it's really what it's intended for.
