  1. You also have the 28 system based on the moon, the 60 system based on minutes and seconds, the 365 system based on the sun which must be corrected every 2 years, the 5 system based on your fingers, the 12 system based on the months and the delirious royal system that has been abolished in 1999 after a whole century to adapt to the MKS system (apparently it didn't work at all ). From now on, I shall speaks in halfhands for weight, in peenuts for time based on the time between two pees and semilegs for distance, so it will be very clear. All these new measures won't be fixed, but will depend on my mood, the speed of the wind and the amount of rain per day.
  2. Measure twice twice (it's not a repetition) and drill once. 😉
  3. Looks like the fridge era has come to an end. Still remember my Ampeg SVT rig at 120 kilos... 40 kilos for the head and 80 kilos for the 8x10". We were young and...
  4. Fantastic and super lightweight basses indeed. GLWYS.
  5. Try a Kramer 450B with the huge distance between the two pickups and you'll understand immediately that the scooped sound (when the two pickups are used together) comes from the inter spacing, easily explainable by the phase cancellation of the low mids due to this ... distance.

  7. Once the intonation and strings heights are set, you could do a totally fixed bridge à la F-Bass or acoustic guitar. That would be a very good solution.
  8. Just in case, real Neutrik must be stamped "Made in Lichtenstein". Now you now why they don't make mini jacks. 🤣
  9. And stands in a shoebox, no kidding. Exact same power amp module as the Americanishly expensive TrickFish Bullhead 1K.
  10. I just secretly hope that you won't reproduce that ugly 🤮 original Trini Lopez headstock. Please, tell me you're not doing it ! Please ! 🙏
  11. Really love the trussrod cover and headstock cap. Is the trussrod cover magnetic ?
  12. Brazilian rosewood is my favourite wood for fingerboard. That said to ship it outside the U.K. you'll need a CITES permit otherwise it will blocked and destroyed by the Customs and you'll get a nice fine for exporting illegal and endangered stuff...
  13. Use a stereo jack and use the ring connector for ground too. Cheap, fast and more reliable than a mono version.
  14. Exactly what @Graham56 posted 45 minutes before...
  15. I like both, but prefer the 60's position for fretless bass and 70's position for fretted bass. Here the difference between the two positions is more than obvious and you can't EQ one to get the other as there's the natural low mid out of phase frequencies cancelling in the 70's position that gives this typical scooped sound when both pickups are engaged. Nice work. 👍
  16. Carillon bells are always fine tuned, as they are intended to play music, which is absolutely not the case with church bells as they are only intended to announce hours, events and ceremonies... So no need to be tuned to make noise.
  17. Hi Christian, I've just sent you the pro forma invoice, the PayPal proof of payment and a copy of the original advert. All these documents are in pdf format and signed. I've always used these documents alongside a CN23 (or CN22 according to the weight) for all the items I've sold outside the EEC and they have always been received as official and legal ones. And I've sent hundreds of items outside EEC over the years without a single issue using the same pattern.
