I'd say the neck is legit, at least. There was one on chrisguitars.com many years back, with the old Tele headstock. The odd bridge is something I haven't seen on an ESP before though.

Yup, ebony on my Bacchus 5 haven't played ebanol, but this one is very clear, lovely zing to it.

We played the semi final of the Wacken Metal Battle, the winners get to play at the Wacken festival in Germany. Got through to the final, good times.

Had an SR3006E, build quality was up there for sure, very nicely put together indeed. I still like the look of the grooveline even after seeing the price, I just don't have the money

If you enjoy playing bass at all don't give up over this. If these guys are playing Wembley in a couple of years then maybe, just maybe, you were the problem... but I'd say you're probably ok. Dust yourself off and get stuck in again

To be honest, I'd take confidence/bravado over someone who barely registers a ripple of interest any day.

I quite like his tone, even if it's not something I'd live with personally. He still had a lot of body, it wasn't a thin sound. A lot of the bridge pickup imitators have a weedy, ball-less tone but Jaco's still had a bit of ooomph behind it.

We play originals. If we ever broke even I'd do a little happy dance. We're clearly not doing it for the money As for covers, no money = no band. I never found playing someone else's tunes quite as enjoyable, would need something to replace the buzz of living or dying on the strength of your own songs.
