  1. Best? Only you know what is best for you. Decide what it is you want to have at the end of the process in terms of tone, ergonomics and appearance before you do anything else.
  2. Was it hers before?
  3. D'Addario 74T000. Wide, padded, just the job. https://www.thomann.de/ie/planet_waves_74t000_gitarrengurt_nylon.htm
  4. I'll bet his shirts are whiter than white
  5. The Homeball - There's a long and convoluted story how this evolved, but it's ok.
  6. He was from Hackney, not Wigon, no? I'm deeply ashamed of that one. There's my coat, by the door.
  7. That doesn't look like Marc Bolan at all
  8. "Sharing cancelled by sender"
  9. It's active. Imagine the battery crapping out on you during a nice sit down.
  10. Shergold, I would say. https://www.vintageandrare.com/product/Shergold-Marathon-MK1a-Early-80s-White-26752 As an aside, wasn't 80's power hair marvellous?
  11. I believe it was back in the late 60's 😅 @evan47 Another way to look at it is, you could get a small production run, hand made bass from a brand you're unfamiliar with, but who have a stellar reputation, for less than you could get a mass-produced Mexican unit-shifter with a familiar logo on the headstock. It's not an insignificant sum of money, for sure, but I would go for it, personally.
  12. I have a few older Japanese Bacchuseses, Bacchiii... whatever. They're as good as those classic designs get, in my experience. I haven't played these newer ones but at £600 I reckon you can try it and sell on easily enough without making a loss if it doesn't work for you.
  13. This is a pleasant surprise, I wasn't aware they had anything in the pipeline. Hopefully there's a full album coming after it.

  16. Can you get a clear photo of the inlay on the neck? With LTDs, that often has the model number therein.
  17. He was on the right track 7 years ago. Who knows where he night be now? 😂
  18. One of these for your low string https://www.amazon.de/-/en/dp/B000OR75QQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details and these for the others https://www.amazon.de/-/en/dp/B00AQBT3GK?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Then hit it hard 😉
  19. Will he bring Felix the cat?
  20. I assume you provide the bass amplification and the drummer provides a kit, so that's a moot point, I would say.
  21. Anything the band do as a whole should get split evenly. I think it's fair that any extra work someone in the band does for the band, for example, music recording and production or "content creation", artwork or other promotional work, songwriting, driving, etc and should be recognised and a little extra agreed for them by all. Some gowl sneaking money out without the knowledge or prior agreement of all of the rest of the band? Nah, that's not on at all.
  22. £1599, wasn't it? Blatantly fake, too, not something a shop like that should be getting so very badly wrong.
  23. Likewise. I'd love to try one, particularly when they had body contours. Doing away with the cheese grater pickup surround was also a great idea.
  24. Give me a forearm contour or give me death. Or a 4004.
  25. I used to have an early 90's 4003. I loved the sound of it, loved the look of it, but it was just murder on my right forearm. How I play just isn't compatible with a slab top and binding. I'd love to have one again, all the same, just for that lovely aggressive sound.
