I love fender flats, I had mine in for about 5 years, they are not as thick as Steve Harris signature strings

I bought Ernie Ball slinky about 3 years back and still sound bright.

It depends which bass, the oldest strings on one of my basses is around ,estimated 40 years old, but could be older. They're flats on an unbranded Japanese made jazz bass with red thread on top. They are dead as a door nail. I even placed a foam under the strings by the bridge.

Bought Line 6 Relay G10 transmitter/receiver, great comms and fast delivery. No issues

I picked up a bass from a service station , met halfway with a BC seller, I never forget when he put it on the table in eating foyer and opened the case, with a sparkly shiny bass. This was followed by exchanging it for cash. It was like a script from a movie. I still find this funny. My only disappointment is with some couriers who caused damage and some sellers not cleaning the items before sending it.

The flats on my unknown Japanese brand jazz bass are over 40 years old, have no intentions to replace.

I have a Korean 90's built Epi gold top but have yet to research which factory it was built in.

If you compared the two and played blindfolded you wouldn't notice much difference, in fact it may be better by a fraction, but maybe. I'd rather buy a nice Marshall combo and save the rest of cash

Strat with rail pickups Floyd Rose and lock nut for anything you want to play Tele for noodling and Epiphone Goldtop Korean made (just as good as Gibson) for any riffs from AC/DC to rock and roll to HM. And a cheap Jackson dinky for trash and heavy stuff. And bitsa guitars with upgraded pickups for fun

Foo Fighters last night at London Stadium. I am , perhaps being harsh, could be partially because I watch and listen out for individual instruments. Great show, played the favourite songs, very crowd pleasing, heavy riffs, but there were parts that musically did not make sense, fillers, extra bits added here and there. I was surrounded by alcohol fuelled punters, well I had a few myself 🥳 Overall, I had a great time.

Foo Fighters, pure coincidence. I watched 'Rock Now' on TV this Tuesday, they played 45 mins of Foo Fighters songs. Then I checked on Google if they tour currently which they do. Bought two tickets on Wednesday for the next week London show. Happy days
