My band, StoneRun, is touring in October and November, and I've got four slots in November I need to fill and I was wondering if anyone could help me out either with a gig itself or alternatively pointing me in the direction of any decent venues or promoters in towns we're not playing. Any help would be massively appreciated and I'd do my best to either sort a return gig or at the very least try and find you something in Sheffield if I can't sort a return gig To give you an idea, we are a rock band with a bit of a grungeness about us, and I've stuck a couple of live videos down the bottom of the thread! Dates we're looking to fill are: 6th November 19th November 24th November 25th November The rest of the tour is: 1st October - Corporation, Sheffield 2nd October - The Appleby, Burton 3rd October - Voodoo Bar, Barnsley 6th October - Sharkey's, Hull 7th October - The King Billy, Northampton 8th October - The Leopard, Doncaster 9th October - Dickens, Rotherham 13th October - Greyhound, Nottingham 15th October - The Town Mill, Mansfield 16th October - The Old Bell, Derby 21st October - Whittles, Oldham 22nd October - The Civic, Mexborough 23rd October - The Snooty Fox, Wakefield 24th October - Scruffy Murphy's, Birmingham 28th October - Grand Central, Manchester 29th October - The Cavendish Arms, London 5th November - The Central, Nottingham 11th November - The Rigger, Newcastle-under-Lyme 12th November - The Ship Inn, Preston 14th November - Dublin Castle, Camden 17th November - Stereo, York 18th November - The Diamond, Sutton in Ashfield 20th November - The Frog and Nightgown, Worksop 26th November - Rio's, Bradford 27th November - The Clubhouse, Stockport

Hey fella, I've been using the Line 6 Relay since xmas and it's ace. If I could afford another one I would buy it and have it go from pedalboard to amp, and I'm not even kidding!! I've never encountered any interference from it, and the latency only gets noticeable when you are properly far away (I'm talking outside the venue), I would recommend it. If some crafty sod stole mine I would buy another immediately. If I'd have known about them before I ordered my Shuker I honestly would have had Jon incorporate one into the bass.

Cheers dudes! She's a cracker! Need to get more photos, and soon as the hardcase arrives I can actually go and gig the mo'fo!

I foolishly forgot to take any pictures of the neck carve, which is pure sex. It's a joy to play, slight neck dive but I always knew there would be, but it doesn't drop past an even keel (if that makes sense?!) so is nay a problem! LED's were definitely the way to go, and it sounds mint. My wife hasn't seen me much these last few days..... A video will be up soon with this thing in, and I am also touring at the minute so once the hardcase arrives I will be gigging the balls off of it!!! Cheap plug for the tour? Why not.... 24th March - The Maze, Nottingham 26th March - Snooty Fox, Wakefield 27th March - Man On The Moon, Cambridge 31st March - West Street Live, Sheffield 1st April - Grand Central, Manchester 2nd April - Dickens, Rotherham 5th April - The Rigger, Newcastle-under-Lyme 7th April - Sharkey’s, Hull 8th April - The King Billy, Northhampton 9th April - Town Mill, Mansfield 10th April - Frog and Nightgown, Worksop 14th April - Whittles, Oldham 16th April - The Appleby, Burton 17th April - The Vic, Coalville 22nd April - The Clubhouse, Stockport 24th April - The Snooty fox, Wakefield 25th April - Yardbirds, Grimsby 27th April - Grand Central, Manchester 30th April - The Leopard, Doncaster 2nd May - Town Mill, Mansfield 3rd May - Jolly Brewer, Lincoln 7th May - Hark to Towler, Bury 9th May - The Boardwalk, Sheffield 13th May - Pulse Bar, Barsnley 14th May - The Ship Inn, Preston 15th May - The Old Bell, Derby 16th May - Wakefield Festival 21st May - Mexborough Civic, Mexborough 27th May - Central, Nottingham 29th May - Cottingham Festival, Hull 30th May - The Grapes, Sheffield

Whilst I was in there I also saw the "none more orange" jazz, the white precision, the fanned fret 6 (gorgeous!!!), and a couple of others and they are all looking super sweet so I hope you all get them very very soon!!!

Hi guys, I need to get some PCB's made for a few pedals I'm making at the minute, and I was wondering if anyone is a dab-hander at making PCB's or if they can recommend someone who is? I'm going to have a go myself if not, but if I can find someone else who can do so for me then so much the better Cheers! Tom

Photo update courtesy of Finbar!!!! I am several amounts of giddy

Damn damn damn! I quite fancy the LB for recording and the Spyder 550 head for live. The 427 would be ace I'm sure, but when would you ever get to crank it all the way!?
-
Yeah the stock page is looking pretty sweet at the minute!!! Didn't know he'd turned 40, I shall double his jammy dodgers payment. Haha! I paid the 40% deposit and have been throwing him bits and bobs as and when I've had the cash, I've a little over £500 left to go but have been silly busy with gigs, work and uni so haven't been to his workshop for ages! Soon it shall be mine! Maybe. Haha!
Any update?
Not recently dude I'm just leaving him to it tbh, the more I ask the harder it'll be and the more I'll probably get on his tits! I think he's busy working on some crazy fanned fret jobby at the minute or something haha! Any update on yours fella? I'm planning on getting down to give him some more money soon and I hope (for my sake, obviously not for yours!) that yours is still there so I can see it in the flesh!!!

Hey hey, My band, StoneRun, have been gigging pretty heavily for the last 3 months or so and we've knocked together some of the footage to make music videos for a couple of the tracks off our EP. Have a gander and see what you think We also made a video with the Sheffield University Filmmakers Society and then got the raw footage from Malc at the Snooty Fox in Wakefield for another, so now the whole EP is on youtube! Enough reading - watch the videos! We're also touring again in April and May, so if you like us and fancy doing a gig together give us a shout!!! Cheers, Tom

Awesome dude! I'm taking some money and jammy dodgers up to Jon very soon, I'll have a look out for yours and let you know how it's going

Hello all, Our singer has binned in his other band, in which he played bass. He's selling his rig which consists of: Ashdown MAG EVO2 300 head Ashdown MAG 4x10 cab Ashdown MAG 1x15 cab As well as the speaker and power cables needed etc. He looks after his gear so this stuff is in good nick, the knob for the compressor came off but all that needs doing is to tighten the screw that holds it on and you're dancing, tis in full working order. You all know Ashdown (and either love it or hate it;)) so I shan't bore you with the spiel. Have a gander HERE for more details and other contact information! TG
someone please buy this before it gets me into trouble
I am in this camp as well. My wife is well patient but this would result in loss of testicles. All the best with the sale mate, have a bump on me. I can't believe this hasn't gone yet!
I am quite worried about ordering a Shuker now with all this talk of them taking ages!
Nah don't worry about it fella! You can always go out and buy a Fender Jazz, any time you like. The custom bass, YOUR custom bass, is definitely worth waiting for and go for the side LED's!!!
