Hi All, I havent had this bass long and accquired her in a trade , so i took a leap of faith and am wel impressed Its a chesnut top , through neck , le fay pick ups and a noll 3 band(active and passive). Its the cleanest/clearest bass i have owned very neutral sounding. high end has loads of clarity and the difference in pick ups is a nice difference. it sounds great acoustucally too and i practice without it being plugged in. id like to keep it but struggling as another is on the way. its got a decent hard case too and been strung with new strings a few weeks ago and played it twice since. its been on here before so if you research it it will come up. a few little things , the knobs could do with a spray/change, and there is a slight bit of laquer off where youre pop fingers would be. not sure how much they are new but this one seems a bit special and it owes me around was £1400.00 so looking in that region. enjoy and hope to hear from you. Hi all Played this beuty last night. the last time i played the bass it didn't do it for me , so i played with the action etc the other day and ...... the old chesnut "it doesn't work for me syndrome" was blown away again last night its odd how we put our basses in their cases and think "na dont like that one" (maybe i just got to many nice ones) it sounded awesome but dull . so im gonna put new strings on and change the tunning to e/c. its still for sale but am open on the price a bit... but i aint fussed about selling now rather trade for a sei fretless plus cash either way!!! peace and bass!!
